 Re: Stable Tours SO5
Just thinking- doesn't posting your team on here give others an advantage as they know what they have to beat?

 Re: Stable Tours SO5
i have nothing to hide mate don't mind 1 bit been open about what i have if they get beat they get beat not the end of the world will enjoy it whatever happens Last season everyone was pretty much open about what they had and posted there best ck times this year only a very few have posted there best ck times its a pity IMO more are not open about what they have its a bit of fun.
Update on my yard is coming as after i sorted my lge team out i started a new game with my best from each distance and bred 2yo so whole new team of 2yo coming and they have beaten all my best 2yo ck times i have taken chunk of some of my best times
only breeding 2yo now will keep them as older horses for next season orr even transfer a few in this season if i get a few that bomb i can replace them

 Re: Stable Tours SO5
My horses will probably be just handicappers as my game isn't that far advanced.
The best of the lot will likely be the 3yo filly Golden Aria. Her first two races as a 2yo she ran poorly in sprints running mid pack both times. Seeing that she would benefit from more distance I ran her next time at a mile fully expecting that she wasn't much to crow about. Well, she bolted to the lead from the start and widened at every pole. The wow moment when you realize you've got something special - which is part of what makes this game fun - happened. She went on to be the best horse in the game until she retired at the end of her 5yo season.

 Re: Stable Tours SO5 (Flat)
Stable Name : Scintael. Trainer : akhc League History : None (Can you say newbie?) Aims : To win whatever we enter 2 year olds Basically we've got a small presence of 5. The remaining 15 will comprise 3 year olds. Don't ask me what races we're targeting. Simply put we'll make it up as the season goes. Here are the horses Burijas 2 year old colt Race entries - 5/6f. Runs best slightly held up or even pace. Tendency to be a lazy runner but when the mood takes has a turn of speed to rival the best. Very good on it's day (or very bad too!) Lassair 2 year old filly Race entries - 5/6f. Races best even pace and much more consistent than her stablemate above. Always willing but sometimes lacks the flat out speed that our other horses trained have. However over 5 and 6f, there is no other horse we have that will run as consistently and hence she wins a place on the team. Aganju 2 year old colt Race entries - 7/8f Probably the weakest of the 2 year olds in our league team. Runs better at 7f than 8f but given there were only 4 colts that were realistically able to cover both distances this is the best option we have. Khamsin 2 year old filly Race entries - 7/8f A favorite of mine as she was one of the first successes in our revamped breeding programme that has led to the current horses we have. As a 3 year old, she has since been passed by countless others (some of which she foaled) but the 2 year old is still very competitive (given the conditions 2 year old races are run under in the league). Better at 8f but no slouch at 7f either. Cierzo 2 year old colt Race entries - 10f Another very early success of our current breeding programme. Far and away the best 2 year old we have at 10f. We expect! And that wraps up the 2 year olds for our league team. The star of the lot really has to be Cierzo.

 Re: Stable Tours SO5 (Flat)
The largest part of our stable consists mostly of sprinters. There is something mystical about watching a horse run flat out as fast as it can. Gerra 3 year old colt Race entries - 5f Very capable colt that has some of the fastest times we've seen at 5f. To be honest we have a pretty large pool of horses to choose from at 5f and would be proud to choose any one of them. Domnu 3 year old filly Race entries - 5f Ascot There is something about Ascot that requires a special kind of horse. This filly is going to be aimed solely at the King Stand Stakes if she's good enough. Nortia/Nehebka 3 year old fillies Race entries - 6f Again we have quite a few horses to choose from at 6f. It isn't surprising though it's these two fillies that come out on top after the trials. A toss up as to which races they will contest but we are happy that either would represent our stables well. Teliko 3 year old colt Race entries - 7f Best in it's class as tested though not tested much and if he doesn't perform could be a candidate for replacement. Runs even paced and is reasonably consistent. Aebhel 3 year old filly Race entries - 7f An often overlooked distance. To be honest we've not tested much at this distance and this filly could be hit or miss! May be a candidate to be replaced when the upload window reopens. Mayin 3 year old colt Race entries - Guineas This colt is aimed at both Guineas if good enough. Runs even paced but has a finish that is quite electic when the mood takes him. Nairyo 3 year old colt Race entries - 1m We have two runners at every distance except for this distance. If we do field a 20th runner than it is likely to be this colt. Might be saved for a future appearance in the league though. Hatasa 3 year old filly Race entries - 1m Full sib to Nehebka and half-sib to Mayin (all 3 share the same sire Illyapa). Pushed hard by her stablemate (Enekpe who will likely feature at some point in the future). This filly is about the most consistent miler we have. Not as fast as some but more than able to hold her own except when her stablemates run a blinder.

 Re: Stable Tours SO5 (Flat)
Working backwards from the longest distance to the shortest distance. Slight change of plans here as some last minute breeding has resulted in both 14f horse being changed. Suleviae 3 year old filly Race entry - St Leger We decided very early on that the farthest distance we were going to contest on the flat was the St Leger. It does seem a little extravagant to have just one horse solely targeting this race but it is a classic after all. Races best when held up slightly. This filly has not just clocked the fastest time in trials at Doncaster of all horses in our stable but is consistent to boot. Likely to run in the Lillie Langtry en route to the St Leger. Could also be aimed at the Irish St Leger but might defer to her stablemate instead. Rahunga 3 year old colt Race entry - Irish St Leger Another luxury and a horse that is in the league team simply for one race. Best of our horses at Curragh. Almost as quick as his stable mate at Doncaster and able to stretch to 2m though it is unlikely that we will contest any of those races but you never know. Tatosi 3 year old colt Race entries - 12f Final change for the league reflecting that 12f is probably our weakest distance. Did some nice breeding in the week running up to close of entries and this colt is capable of setting some fast times and runs even paced. Slightly better than the one it replaces but probably not a real contender at Epsom/Curragh as the courses don't suit but will be targeting some of the other 12f races. Capable of running on dirt. Yima 3 year old filly Race entries - 12f As stated our weakest distance but this filly is a minor upgrade to the previous. Better able to cope with differing courses and distances and might even get 14f. Even paced as with her stablemate at 12f. In our opinion both horse at this distance are probably outsiders at best. Taran 3 year old colt Race entry -10f A fairly consistent performer, this colt likes running slightly held up. Finds a place in our league lineup if only because there are weeks where we will probably need two horses that can run this distance. What races this colt enters will largely depend on how his stablemate is faring. Arani 3 year old filly Race entries - 10f Nothing in our stables comes close to her at 10f. There maybe another stablemate chosen to contest this distance but I suspect that this lovely filly will be our main runner in most of the 10f races.
