Look for a laptop that got Nvidia or Amd Radeon graphics card logo, u can't really go that wrong with one of these.

Welcome back. There could be 2 more seasons of so6 so why not join the dark side again. I cant see there being a so8 league before the middle of 2018.

It will run the full details and effect happily on a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, i expect a 950 also, though I used to play on a 8 year old dell xps, which had two mice and a rubber band for a processor, with all the effects turned off the game still ran and played fine for me.

Week five uploads, just saying :)

Maaaaaan i had some bad rides today. Devious Diva was sent too wide and too early in the Duty Free. Play The Game was never given a chance in the Golden Shaheen.

The only pleasing performance was Morning Dip in the West Yorkshire, Will hopefully pick up another Grade 1 this season.

Thanks for the pats on the back for my calls - much appreciated. No need to make the names easier....just don't make them harder :-) lol
Who was the trainer last week who had the Chinese named horse? Chinese pinyin is way easier for me than French hahahaha :-)

If anyone needs a gee up from Monday's races it's Gray - while I soundly slept, he spent the most part of Sunday afternoon and night stressing as almost none of my calls had come thru to him.
So he was up til 2am Monday morning getting the Hunt going and then up again at sparrows finalising the Flat.

Well done Gray!

If you buy a laptop it comes with fixed graphics, it cannot be upgraded, so if you buy a laptop make sure it has at least an I3 processor and Iris graphics. In the uk, this type of laptop costs about £400. It will happily run SO6 on a middle graphics setting. The trouble with buying a more basic model is that the graphics in games are always getting more fancy, so in 2 years time, the laptop may not be up to the job.

A gamming laptop with an I7 processor and nvidia gtx 950 graphics costs about £750 in the uk. This will run SO6 on the highest graphics settings.

If you decide to buy a desktop computer, it usually has more upgrade capacity, so a middle range computer costing around £400 can be upgraded at a later date to cope with advances in technology. I have seen desktop gamming pcs for sale at about £550.

I have had a quick look at some websites selling computers and generally you get more for your money buying a desktop rather than a laptop.

Where yesterday was a bump, today was more of a crash back to earth.

Flat: Woe is me :)

Solent Green - Ran on well enough for 4th in this low grade handicap, will be his level such as it is.

Podgies Boy - 6th of 8. Bit of a plodder, bout as good as my 2m flat horses get.

Boldy Going - 4th, found her low level, decent enough run, but not able to ever really challenge.

Arch Rival - confirmed her 2nd last week was a consequence of being raced towards the end of the last day, probable future in the glue factory. 10th.

Fine Puzzle - 11th, has a well planned future involving a cart and a harness.

Enders Shame - 16th, sadly he's too big to sneak into a donkey derby.

Jump: Note to self, stay away from the graded races............

Exit Potentially - 10th, was too short for him and I knew it going in, needs least 2.7 to 3m, so always a bit of a punt.

Around DBX - 8th place allows me to revaluate her level, one for the handicaps, stayed well enough, just did/could not quicken.

Leaving Las Vegas - My second national candidate, stayed on better than expected for 8th.

William Coconut - Solid run for 5th, simply not the pace of the winner, no prospect beyond the low grade handicaps.

National Sensation - Will certainly stay the national distance, though I am less convinced he will survive the fences. Fell at the 11th after clattering both the 9th and 10th.

Great White Hope - Debute run, plodded round at the back sneakly waiting for them to tire out, way too much to do, stayed ok for 7th.

all pacemakers again with no stamina so no guesses as to where they have come again lol....a lesser man would quit now :)

Thanks to a wonderful team for supplying what's needed at the end of a long day

if there was some way of bringing the finish line back 2 furlongs each race i could be in the top half of trainers table :D

Been very pleased with my NH team. Just a bunch of flat horses I had that surprisingly were decent at jumping so I thought I'd give the league a try with them. They have good speed and ability, but not the stamina. I think I may step them down in distance next time out. As for my flat team.... Abysmal start once again. Any chance at 0-60 handicaps lol.
