Mubaah I is going to put both of mine in just about bang on the ten stone mark and Ishtar will love the ground and stay longer than the mother in law :)

Depends on how the race secs run the race. Can someone please confirm this race should be run as open? Last 5f at Nunthorpe was run at 3+ (probably because there were no 2 year olds) but really these two races should be run as open according to league rules. Therefore the 3 year olds should be carrying 9st10 instead of 9st (+ penalties of course).

Well 5f is quite different from 6.5f. At 5f it's a dash from the gates and I don't know more stamina is better. Of all the sprinters I have Nehebka deals with the heavy ground best so gets the nod.

Qasser is in the 7f race not the 5f race

Andy it was decided as no two year olds was entered to run in the Nunthorpe to run the race as 3up but will run if I get that race to run Sunday as Open.

At the moment, there is at least one 2 year-old entered in the race, so it will be run as open. Otherwise, I'll run it as 3 year olds up.

imo there should not be any races for 2 year olds up in the league as the youngsters are simply not good enough to compete against their elders especially at Grp 1 level.

Kev.

On second thoughts...

I can't fit him into another race this week so what's the harm in running him!

Will ensure the race is ran as open as well

I don't mind either way but it does make a difference to the race whether it is open or 3 year old +. Something that needs to be sorted for next season.
