Quote: No Leon u have to have the same jockey i thought he rode a great race The sad reality of things is that Vertigo likes to leave it very late but hopefully he will arrive on time to win this seasons gold cup ) 2 winners for me. Canyon Creek showed I'm still very strong over 2m4/2m5 hurdles. I had the top two runners in this division last season and Canyon Creek is way better than them so expecting big things from her this season. V for Victory won over 2m4. Quite surprising as he wants a minimum trip of around 3m. Of the others German Spy ran well over a distance short of his best. Bright Ocean and North by Northwest both finished 2nd in what was a good day for me

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
R2 Tiny Feet (7th) - My best 3m hurdler ran an absolute shocker. Just hoping it was the track she didn't like. R4 Call The Tune (4th) - Decent effort. Will be better over a shorter trip. R6 Grecian Urn (11th) - Never ran a race at all. Again, I'm hoping it was the track that was against him. R7 Bad Girl (4th) - Produced some cracking performances during trials but was a long way from that form here. R8 Project Rage (3rd) - Juvenile hurdler who trialed ok against his own age group. Hopeless in my main 2m trials and was only uploaded to have a bit of interest in the lower grade h'caps. R9 Lost Patrol (6th) - Raced mid division and stayed there. Once again the track probably didn't suit. R10 Historic (4th) - Given too much to do and did well to finish 4th. Yet another who would prefer a stiffer track.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
It may not sound very good with best results of 4th and 6th but this season has been a massive step up from last. Most of my horses were relatively competitive so hopefully there are some big handicaps to come later in the season! Definitely should beat my 1 win from last season By the way in race 5 Bang bang bang seemed to actually finish 5th but the results say 6th! That's an important £200 prize money I've missed out on

Nothing exciting from my point of view, either struggled or fell. Considering how the Flat bunch performed this was expected as these are the cast offs!

I was very impressed by Greenbank Park when I run the race and i saw German spy of Leon's I thought this will be a gold cup horse but your horse beat it by two lengths Very impressed might start Anti Post Favourite for the Gold Cup. I want at least 50/1 on me paul My horse's this season are not as good has last season I knew that I didn't do much breeding.

I'm the Philip Price of the trainer ranks, i'm sure a few of the mighty Nicholls and Henderson's have a few up there sleeve.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
2 winners and 2 3rds. The two winners were novice hurdlers who are closely related. Mike Trout was very unlucky not to win, bad mistake at the last cost him. Another Caviar didnt see out the 2 mile 4 trip when it looked like he would hack up. Drop back to 2 mile will suit. Stable star Soviet Star never really got a run, made a few mistakes and was given a shocking ride. Might up him in trip next time. Overall, pretty happy but I believe I can win with every horse I run.

Re: National Hunt : Talk Reaction Banter
With 3 of my big guns appearing, Red Queen, Vertigo and Ancient of Lore I was expecting a good day and they didn't disappoint.
Ascent ran well in the 3 mile chase and finished second, The winner was too good though so its going to be hard for him to pick up feature wins.
Spice Wolf ran well in race 13 but it looks like he may need further to be seen in the best light
Secret Paths ran well enough to finish 3rd in race 20 . he made a mistake late but was never going to beat the winner
Tiste Edur won race 18 and underlined my strength in the 2m4/2m5 hurdle department.
Red Queen impressed me winning race 1 over a distance short of her best. She will be contesting the top 3 mile plus mares chase races and on this performance is going to have a great season
Ancient of Lore won race 14 with a bit in hand and at this stage is my world hurdle horse. He is a good chaser though so will switch codes during the season
Vertigo produced my standout performance he had no galloping room for ages made a terrible blunder three out and with a fence to jump looked as if he would struggle to run into the first 5. But with his trademark burst of acceleration he passed 7 horses after jumping the last to storm home. 3m1 is the bare minimum trip for him as he stays 3m5 but the cheltenham gold cup remains the target.
Well done to all the winners and it looks like Ghostzapper will be a serious force in the NH league this season.
