 Re: New Flat Hadicapper
As always you miss the point.
So a trainer with a 75-90 horse 2m will have to run in Group races, therefore being given a mark much higher than that horses ability. How is that horse then going to win the Melbourne Cup off of 100?
At most distances it is fine. 2m+ you might struggle.
How many times did Acca Pulco run last season? Ama Seeing could have ran three times and still won the Melbourne Cup. But once a cheat, always a cheat.
I did point out all of this when the discussions for the new schedule were going on.
I consider your posts personal attacks and would like you to stop. I am trying to point things out here and have been for weeks.

 Re: New Flat Hadicapper
I think the group one h'capps should be h'capped like group one's in the US and the Grand National over here, it's left for the h'capper to decide what the weights are. It could be a build up then to the races, perhaps u got to declare a week before so the h'capper got time to h'cap them and perhaps on the Monday or Tuesday before the race he can unveil the races in here.
It would give something extra to the races.

 Re: New Flat Hadicapper
Paul your argument is that it stops lower trainers from winning a G1. Your other point is you won a G1 handicap off of top weight. You did that with Group class horses. A lower trainer is not going to win a G1 handicap off of 100!
How can you not understand that? Look at the forums over the last few weeks. I have pointed out several times that there were problems with the schedule and it was me who kept bringing up the three run rule. It has all been ignored.
I have tried my best. But you continue to have a go at me and label me a cheat.

 Re: New Flat Hadicapper
You have all but said I cheated to win the Melbourne Cup. You really need to calm down. I am trying to point something out here and you just go on about last season.
So once more. There is a lack of handicaps at certain distances. This needs to be looked at if wanting to introduce a three run rule for G1 handicaps. Is the rule to be one maiden and two handicaps?

 Re: New Flat Hadicapper
I wonder why the league numbers are down.........................anyone.
Perhaps if the senior members of the league stopped acting like big kids then perhaps there would be more people playing.
If a newbie was to come in here right now and see this then i'm sure they would walk out thinking I cant be doing with all this. I know I would.
For god sake talk in private, leon's done a fantastic job with tom and deserves better.
And will all the regulars who pull out they horses( because they are sulking stop it). There seems to me that there are a few of u. Get u horses in the game.

I am very calm Matt (all but) does not mean i did accused you (You did not cheat matt cant make it clearer) i care greatly about the lge i presume Gray meant 1 maiden 2 any other runs at any level but won't put words in his mouth Leon has stated its way too late to change the schedule 1 race rule leaves the door open to something that is clearly unfair on others you have already stated your intention to doing it again

I apologise mate last thing i would ever want to do is harm the lge i think i have put my points across about something that i think needs sorting this is for the benefit of the lge i can see how this comes across as a childish argument its not Matt believes in 1 thing and i believe in another both are opposites i think we have both just put over our points i dont think either of us are out of order i have stated my concerns and will say no more on the subject and wait to see what the bosses say i again apologise

 Re: New Flat Hadicapper
Once again on this forum people claim I have said things i have not.
Paul if you would like to point out where I have said I wish to use one run rule into a G1 handicap?
Paul I found your replies like personal attacks on me and childish. I only said you were going to struggle to enforce a three run rule at certain distances. I will say AGAIN that I have highlighted the need for three runs before a G1 handicap several times over the last few weeks and also that the schedule does not cater well for this rule at certain distances.
I dont think we believe in opposite things, something else you dont seem to understand. You have completely missed my points.
Thats enough for me. No more time spent on this nonsense.

That's easy enough to do with out everyone getting in a tiss about it. Remember i'm the one who finished second to Beaky well h'capped melbourne good thing. It never bothered me. Bas"£$ "lol"

I just took it from the above comment that you were intending to do the same i apologise for the misunderstanding Quote: Paul I found your replies like personal attacks on me and childish. i don't understand how you came to this conclusion but if thats what you think or its how you feel i humbly apologise was not my intention to personally attack you or act childishly i am actually a very mature person probably more than double your age Matt with added vat but again i offer you a full apology & hope you will accept it

 Re: New Flat Hadicapper
Once again me as the handicapper would like to see at least three runs to get in any group 1 final in week 13 you can run a horse above and below its best distance to get 3 runs easily I would like Leon or Jamie to consider this it would be fairer for all than having a horse to say have a one run in a 1m 7f Maiden finish 6th gets a rating of 85 then appear in the final over its best distance of 2miles and Win easily that just doesn't seem fair and would leave a sour taste in my mouth and that's my own opinion.
