 Re: Weekly Reaction
Didn't think life could get much better after yesterdays 2000 Guineas victory but I was wrong 6 wins today 3 Group/Grade One Wins
Flat
Elizabeth Browning Wonderful beautiful jockey gave lizzy the perfect ride drawn 7th he got her out early moved over led and virtually made all to win the Kentucky Derby. I'm blown away by that performabce she was so so unlucky in Dubai the triple crown dream is alive 2 Classics in a week am I dreaming.
Brain Freeze 2 Wins in a row after a shakey start to her career she is now a Group 3 Winner after winning the Sagaro Stakes a Nice double for my Stayers this Week she goes for the Gold Cup not sure there is anything before it.
Lets Dance Lets Dance my other stayer made it 2 Wins from 3 starts never been out the top 2 in her career she did it real well in the Coolmore Vintage Crop Listed Yorkshire Cup maybe too short for her but will have a think.
NHC
Dame Jenny Bond Well what a place to break your maiden tag in one of the worlds richest jumps races and how she did it it was just an awesome sight job done for her she is now a Grade 1 Winner. She was always my number 1 for the gold cup and thats her main target but after today I could not care less she has that vital G1 on her CV.
Sgt Bilko 2nd on his first 2 career starts and another this week to break his maiden tag in a Grade/Group 1 winning the Maurice Gillois Grand Novice's Chase.
Jack Frost Still unbeaten now 2 from 2 and now a Grade 2 Winner winning the Gowran Park Chase he looks a tough nut to crack over 20 furlong id say the Ryanair will be on his agenda.
Been a truly Magical few days thanks to the team for all your hard work especially Gray for running the live streams.
Thanks to the commentators who add so much to the experience
congratulations to all the winners and placers this week especially to those who bagged there maiden win.
See you all next week.

 Re: Weekly Reaction
Still no win for the stable.
NH
Got off the mark in terms of prize money with a hatrick of 5ths. The more handicaps to come will certainly help and i expect a big improvement over the coming weeks
FLAT
7/24 runners have now made the money including 3 seconds. Hopefully the first winner is very close
Thanks for all involved on another brilliant weeks racing.

 Re: Weekly Reaction
Two winners Duracell plodding out his 2.5m handicap on the flat and Kiss My Estate ran well in her novice. Grinding was also respectable with her 2nd as was In Estate of Change who left it too late to challenge, a lot who were there or there abouts again. Think I need to pull my finger out for week 5 and get some new breeds in........

 Re: Weekly Reaction
Finally my first win this season with Stormshield in the Starters Orders 6 Novices Hurdle Qualifier Leg 2, just when I thought there will be again no win. And maybe I'm 6th man of the year, 14 times just out of the money, I don't like this! Congrats to all winners and placers! Coms and race runners brilliant as always!

 Re: Weekly Reaction
Great Wednesday for the stable with a total of 5 wins, 3 on the flat and 2 over jumps.
Flat
Firegrove Lad had a very easy victory in the Crown Inn Handicap, winning by about 6 lengths.
Wiltshire Girl won a very hard fought Whitsbury Manor listed race, just getting up in the final few yards. I was pleased with this victory as Wiltshire Girl was giving 6lbs to Lochsong and 12lbs to Scooby Lass, the 3rd placed horse.
Pentvale Boy just got up to win the 2YO AW Championsip race.
I must also give an honourable mention to Bartertown Boy who ran a gallant 2nd in the Kentucky Derby. This horse has really surpassed my expectations this season with a 2nd in a group race at Dubai and now a 2nd in the Derby, both over dirt. I never did any trialling over dirt tracks, so his good runs are a surprise.
Jumps
Birch Forrest Girl had a very narrow victory in the G1 Juvenile race at Auteuil. This was a very gutsy performance as she made all the running, leading from start to finish.
Policegrove Lad had a nice victory in the Starters Orders Chase Qualifier. He hit the front about halfway and stayed on grimly to the finish line.

 Re: Weekly Reaction
3rd Day catch up - The flat again really disappointing a 2nd was nice with "Hienze Hollie" which is the closest on the flat so far to a win, but 11 of the 17 in my stable have been in the money, so I guess it all adds up. although I gauge my success on first past the post (a bit like the antiquated election process in the UK ) so still looking for that win. The Hunt.... I appear to have a GN favorite "Libranno" fantastic in the stayers G3 getting up to pip the Prof's horse and back to back wins, never experienced that before, but now sitting on 160 and nothing to go for before week 10 with the Paul Moores at Cheltenham next (14th last year) something to look into as maybe at least a G3/G2 non handicap would of been nice, typical my only successful horse and he's eating hay for 6 weeks I guess running him in inferior distances is the answer. btw "Lib" ran in the GN last year and fell at the 7th. To sum up 2 wins in a week on the hunt so cant be unhappy with that... Just my flat buggers are frustrating.... Sorry missed the live last night, I would of enjoyed all those "WD's" lol

 Re: Weekly Reaction
My only runner Ramses ran ok behind Libranno in the stayers chase and would have been closer but for a bad mistake 2 out. Plan now is to get his rating lowered for the GN. I reckon he needs to drop about 12 lbs to be in with a shout.
Thanks to all who make this league possible and well done to all winners.

 Re: Weekly Reaction
Two wins and two in the money this week was more than I could have dreamed of. I am curios how well my winners will do when they step up in class. The league and community are great. Great comms and streams. And you feel very welcome. Am excited for week 4 and my NH team are rubbish
