3 Winners on day one and 2 festival winners over the sticks
Swiss Army Knife Becomes the 11th individual horse from my yard to win a a G1 on the flat this season after just getting up in the Matron Stakes she bombed in the classics and Royal Ascot but looks like she is a late bloomer.
Invictus Maxamus Ran in this as my main novice is a mare and she runs in the mares version but of course mainly to avoid Josh's beast in the bumper who must be the banker of the festival looks like good business now His 4th win of the season he is such a versatile horse having won a Hurdle bumper & chase races and now a Multiple grade one winner after taking the Supreme Novices Hurdle. I dont think I have had a more versatile horse before. No idea whats next he could end up anywhere next week
The Jockey Assassin The coup has landed and how. He is a Cross Country specialist loves the banks and always felt this was going to be his big day ran well over fences but a different animal on the cross country course and today he was so impressive he never put a foot wrong and always looked comfortable. This could be his last race not sure whats left for him.
Some very impressive Cheltenham performances today and from trainers who you would not call the usual suspects good to see. Huge thanks to the team appreciate the hard work and effort you all put in Many Thanks to the commentators well done to the winners and placers

Wow i had a good day even with my less than great jumpers .
Last season 4 yo winning the champion hurdle was a shocker even to finish second.
Ghostcatcher must go down as my best ever 2yo , unbeaten in 4 in a record for me .
Going into the season i thought McCraken was my best ever 3yo and hes had a few poor races but its nice to see him come good .
I hope everyone has a few winners the rest of cheltenham and sorry Del for beating 1 of u's at the festival.
Thanks everyone for running the races and for the great comms.

Disappointing blank at the Festival but won the Arc on the flat
Anne Of Troy In what can only described as the most exhilarating finish in league history Anne Of Troy stuck out her tongue on the line to win the Arc her second G1 of the season after her victory in the Irish Oaks. Stonehenge ran a cracker again this horse does not know how to run a bad race. Huge thanks to the team appreciate the hard work and effort you all put in Many Thanks to the commentators well done to the winners and placer

						Tribago won the Pertemps final!
Delighted to finally get another festival winner, first for a few years! Tribago is also a horse in her 3rd or 4th season. Started as 2m2 horse and now just about gets 3m.

I am so happy - Although she dead heated earlier in the season to make it a win in each season the past 3 seasons, today Deep Miss won again and this time out right which makes it feel much more special.

Well done doug winning in 3 different seasons, as I don't intend to try to keep up with the top trainers from now on I plan on bringing 4 or 5 back every season. U have more fun and u get a feel for them unlike the new horses that go into u team every year.

Definately something you can do with hunt horses - especially the 4 milers - you could easy get 5 seasons out of them.

						Just one winner today
My lousy record in Championship races at the festival contiues I actually dont think I have ever won one.
Trickshot Trev Bolted up in the 4m4 Leon Van Renesburg Cup G1 he's now rated 165 and goes for the national next week but my national no1 Sunnyside Up is rated 145 and clearly is my best chance in the great race.

Congratulations for josh going past 100 winners for the season stella effort Having only 1 sub has hurt my chances in each of the championships but I knew that would happen anyway. Passing a century in a league season is a huge effort and should be celebrated well done mate
Huge thanks to the team appreciate the hard work and effort you all put in Many Thanks to the commentators well done to the winners and placer

Three wins for me on the last day. Very happy with that. No Cheltenham luck as usual, but big congrats to all the festival winners.
Again, well done to the team and comms. Just three weeks left. Where did the time go?

				  Re: Weekly Reaction

An unexpectedly good week for me with 6 winners and quite a few placers. Maybe I should stop commentating as I seem to do better when I don't commentate. 2 winners at Cheltenham was nice. Hoped for 1 but 2 was a bonus. Sabrina Duncan was a bit of a surprise in the 4 miler and now leaves me in a quandary about my second National runner. Delighted I made the right decision with the two 4yo races as Crime Traveller ran well to be placed in the Triumph and Lady Lilith won the Fred Winter in receipt of weight. Away from the Festival Bonnechere River staked his claim as the unexpected NH stable star registering his 3rd win taking the Fakenham Silver Cup after winning 2 hunter chases previously … doubt he will get back into another after Gray gets his hands on him. Delighted to see Spanish Steps win a chase even if it was only a hunter. Famous old chaser from the 70s a few of us older ones will remember. He won on the flat last year too so is another of my dual code winners. Funky Sunset was my final NH winner of the week in the SO6 Chase and I just want to say well done to Stu for keeping the annoyance out of his voice in the comm Just the one winner on the flat although many ran well. Ballet Dancer registered a 3rd win this season and I have to admit it was off a pretty handy mark considering the first win was a week 1 maiden.
