 Re: League Weekly reaction
Superb day for me 1 winner on flat and 4 winners in NH, plus a 2nd and 2 3rds.
Sistine Chappel highlighted the strength of my 3 to 3m3 chasers and made up for the disappointment of Bizarre unseating yesterday. He is brilliant around Cheltenham but my gold cup hope, Viking Settlement, will only make his debut in week 6
Speakeasy ran a great race to finish second. Enter Sandman and Welcome to the Jungle ran solid races in 3rd. Beggars Banquet showed what a class horse he is going the right way. Both Cosmic Puppet and Drakensberg won well.
On the flat Gates of Dawn got a win under her belt. She is not proving as good as I hoped, but hopefully she will run well in the Gold Cup.
Congrats to all winners

 Re: League Weekly reaction
Flat Cheshire Native 2nd - Another brave run from her off top weight, raised her another 3lbs to 102, so pattern races might be next on her agenda. Shut Eye 5th - Another disappointing from him, thought he was going to be my horse for plate. But doubt he would get in off that rating, needs to improve. Devious Diva 5th - In the Kentucky Derby, another cracking run from her. 1m 1f Preakness will suit her even better, but there are a few options for her next week. Le Madame 2nd - Up 11lbs for finishing 2nd NH Had some really pleasing performances at Auteuil Nightowls 6th - in the group 3 hurdle, may try handicapping next. Masculine Emotion 4th - In the grade 1 juvenile, really impressed with his run on ground he hates. Lead until the final furlong. Literally will not stay any further than 2m, he's just all speed. Victory Gallop 6th - in the Jousselin, handicap mark could be wrecked now though. Vermici 2nd - in the last race.

 Re: League Weekly reaction
NH
My 2 stable 'stars' both fell in the staying races. What have given me some much needed prize money! Singapore was 6th in the G1 juvenile but the rest were terrible
FLAT Alders End was 6th in the Royal mile and will be competitive going forward. The rest look like staying maidens for the whole season
Congrats to Ghost on his victory, another triple crown on the way?

Think my first ever winner was in the early bird nursery a couple of years ago. No matter what level its at, a winner is still a brilliant feeling!

I enjoy watching them even though mine are furlongs behind Thanks Follis. But my motto in life is make a decision and live with it. I'm not going to drag the past up, one of my favourite sayings is the past is like a foreign country and I don't live there any more. I said to Gray last weekend that this is my last week on the flat (just not fun anymore) but my johns jumpers stable might comeback perhaps later on in the season or next season. Now lets get on with the racing.
