BREAKING NEWS

Turmoil in the Rhodes camp. Trainer Paul Rhodes fires training assistant and lays the blame on the assistant shoulders for the mistakes made in week 1 race entries. Paul Rhodes made a statement "In the light of the first week debacle which saw four of my runners runners withdrawn due to clerical errors I felt compelled to make the change"

Nevertheless this has contributed to the terrible start to the season for one of last seasons top trainers. Although a addictive fixation with milers may have also been a contributing factor

UPDATE
Kildare police raided the homes of former employees of Irish Horse racing trainer Paul Rhodes.
Rhodes sacked 3 members of staff yesterday amidst a scandal over race entries
a betting docket was found in rhodes's former administrator Lisa Sharp premises
it appears Mrs Sharp had a rather large bet on rival trainer LeonVR to win the
NHC trainers championship
Chief Inspector Charles Baxter said: It looks as though Mrs Sharp will be charged with Fraudulent Misconduct
we have caught her red handed she is banged to rights oh its a sorry affair and all this after Mr Rhodes
told us all a few weeks back he was a cert for the championship we all lumped on him profits were going to the police ball fund for a good old hooley
before xmas the lads at the station are just gutted
Paul Rhodes said: this is very disappointing news indeed it appears Foul Play has cost us a good start to the season

Police Evidenced released below

Terrible as expected bar Apache Dawn! Unbelievable result and could head towards the Gold Cup! Hoping the horse continues in that form!

Bullfighter (2nd) - Ran a stormer to finish less than a length behind Leons horse in race 14. Interesting to see how he can perform in the coming weeks.
Shine One (3rd) - Kept on well at the end to snatch 3rd in race 16, may need slightly further but will stay at 2m for a couple of weeks at least.
Makng Champs (6th) - Did not seem to see out the trip in race 19 but a promising run anyway.
Zod World (7th) - Another who didn't quite stay. Race 20 was over 2m3f so will definitely drop in trip.
Monza finished last in the bumper and was bitterly disappointing. Hopefully he will improve next week.

All in all a much more encouraging day for me and wins seem to be just round the corner

Very pleased to get 2 winners - could have been 3 if La Bise didn't decide to try and kick the last fence out of the ground!

W T F looked suprisingly very good, tempting me to play some more now to upload before the deadline!

Breaking News

Rhodes to heavily invest in new stock out of compensation payment
its believed Mr Rhodes will be buying 3 mile hurdlers & Chasers and has hired
Mick Fitzgerald as an Buying Adviser
Rhodes will add to his string of 11 before the weekend
it reeks of desperation after a poor start to the season

so means i'll be playing so5 heavily for a day or 2

One winner, one second and a unlucky fourth. Not Bad

Twin oaks 1st, my big hope to retain my Sun alliance Crown.
Celtic Chief 2nd Well pleased.
Knock Hill 4th if only he didn't blunder the last. Back to the schooling Yard for u.
Little bay 6th happy with it, only a h'capper

Now to the bad

Only Royale 6th, poor was expecting a little more.
Dublin Flyer Fell, was last when fell big disappointment.
Mystic Music Fell, I think the trainer need's to get a few home to learn how to jump.

And last was Like a butterfly in the bumper, didn't go a yard. Big questions about it, being tested might have been got at

I Love it that the races are run over three days, it makes it more enjoyable.

Everyone's doing a fantastic job, this season could be epic. :D

Nashwan for me it's not all about the winning, it's about having fun. Everything is running smoothly and it's fun, last season it was new for Tom and everyone was getting frustrated.

I hope everyone gets a few winners and enjoys it.

I cant wait to see how my mad Horse get's on Tomm, Grey Sombrero is the only grey horse I've ever bred and he's a mad front running Long distance Stayer. He's no world beater and his jumping is suspect but he will make it a fast pace in his races.

R11 Tumbledown Wind (3rd) - Ran well but never looked like troubling Leon's winner. Might be better over a bit shorter.
R12 Lone Soldier (3rd) - First time I've bothered trialing for nhf races, so really pleased to see him make the frame on debut.
R13 Free Ride (7th) - Slightly disappointing. Hopefully an extra furlong will bring about some improvement.
R15 Showboat (6th) - Trialed well over 3m but was never competitive. Disappointing run.
R16 Dyna Mite (10th) - Readliy outpaced last furlong. Ran pretty well otherwise and will be suited by further.
R17 Out For A Walk (6th) - One of the lesser lights in my stable who will be aimed at the lesser grade handicaps.
R18 Silent Running (3rd) - Jockey challenged too early and he didn't get home. Decent performer from 2m-2m4f and should be able to pick up at least 1 graded hurdle.
R19 Northern Soul (9th) Really good horse from 3m2f-3m5f so was always going to find this trip on the sharp side. Early season target is the Henessy Gold Cup.
R20 Penny Pincher (4th) - Solid effort. Another who trialed well from 2m-2m4f and should be able to win a race or two this season.
