Cheltenham Day 2....

Shine One (10th) - Not a bad run in the Queen Mother
Estoril (1st) - GET IIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nearly gave me a heart attack with a slow jump at the last but still could not be caught to win the Fred Winter! First Cheltenham festival winner and hopefully the first of many! Absolutely delighted :D :D :D :D
Monza (12th) - Last in the champion bumper but what a great race
Macho Man (8th) - A couple of slow jumps blow his chance
Parsons Fancy (11th) - Last of the finishers, was never going to be good enough for the Ryanair
Bang Bang Bang (13th) - Sweated badly before the race but still got into a great position 3f out. Faded badly as expected but if she was calm before hand she could have been very close
Sepang (14th) - Challenged for the lead and sulked, awful run

A couple of disappointments but who cares after Estoril winning the Fred Winter. Completely made my season, doesn't matter what happens now!
Win a race at the Cheltenham festival: Objective completed.

Well done to all other winners this week, especially the big G1's

Congrats on u first cheltenham win, and to all the winners this season.

Thanks Ghost, I'm sure you'll be back to winning a lot of big races next week

R2 Juniper Tree 6th & his run of 3 wins in a row comes to an end ran a shocker but cant complain he hit his target last week
R3 3 Eyed Fish 6th ran well in G1 company just not good enough at this level

R5 Rhodes Scandal unplaced another shocking performance from jumps team today
R7 Air Belgrade just out the money 6th
R8 Mitchu Unplaced and a pitiful horse
R9 Daring Looper Unplaced shocking day for me

Zod Sterling (15th) - Last finished after being agitated in the paddock
Musanid (7th) - Another solid run in the Betfred Bowl
Shine One (6th) - Thought she would have too weight but stayed on well to finish a close 6th
Bullfighter (8th) - Awful. Was expecting a big run
Zod Meister (9th) - Not a bad run in group company
Bang Bang Bang (1st) - The Topham was carnage with just 4 finishers but absolutely delighted with the win!!

2 big handicaps in 2 weeks, the Fred Winter and now the Topham! :D :D :D

R1 Sonic Glory (7th) - one of the few horses I have that I thought would be suited to the track and she runs a shocker. it's going to be a long week!
R2 Inconsequential (5th) - ran ok. wasn't good enough.
R3 Norhern Soul (9th) - trip was too short, track didn't suit and early mistakes didn't help either. a run to forget.
R4 Dyna Mite (3rd) - good 1 week bad the next. today was a very good day. really pleased to make the frame under a big weight.
R5 Frankenfurter (6th) - track didn't suit.
R6 Humble Spirit (5th) - beaten a long way from the finish. ran on late to pinch some prize money.
R7 Project Rage (7th) - one of his worst runs of the season. only the 2nd time he's been out of the first 5.
R9 Silent Running (8th) - another runner that found the track too sharp. I should have run my 2m chaser Lost Patrol instead.
R10 Tumbledown Wind (U 2nd) - I thought he would have a decent chance if he jumped round. left the jockey behind at the chair  .

well done all winners and placers.

Channel 4 and Racing Uk have come under fire from the T V racing public after the shocking Camera work on the televised Topham Chase at Aintree yesterday it seemed that the cameraman followed the unseated horse's around the course and not the race it self which was going on more than a distance behind the unseated horse's who had departed earlier in the race.

A Channel 4 spokemans has said it had been dealt with and promised it wont happen again the cameraman in questioned was sacked after he was found to be Drunk and was so drunk he didn't realise the horse's didn't even have jockey's the winning Trainer a Mr J Follis Said i didn't know where my horse was and the commentator didn't know what was going on either as he was saying how good the unseated horse was jumping now he didn't have a jockey on but thats ok my horse won so i'm a happy chappy.

Apparentley it has come to light that the Cameraman was Celebrating after he had a few Bob on Megastar who was awarded the long Distance Cup at Ascot after the Disqualified Banking Giant was thrown out it had been rumoured that Trainer Leon Van Rensburg is not a Happy Man as is spitting chips.

I'm going to sack my trainer, getting them to peak a week to late :D I think my horses enjoyed the better ground.

I normally watch my best horses last but the pressure was on and I had to watch Greeny first, I don't enjoy watching him run. I'm glad he showed his jumping skills,at every fence I was on tender hooks. After that it was wow after wow, seeing Twin Oaks and Aldino win was nice but I was glad that Newnham finally showed what he show's at home.

It was nice to see Run and Skip get his ground, even Gaye Brief gave a better performance.

I loved the topham, I was beaten but it was carnage out there. Did all the horses and jockeys come back. Is any of the jockeys going to miss tomorrows Grand National..
