I agree with the Gold Cup. The front two were the best horses in the race but Careless was absolutely belting home and the way the race went it literally had no chance! Never mind hopefully all can be redeemed later in the season congrats all winners and placers so far!

So I dont offend anyone else I wouldn't say Cruise Ship was the second best horse in the Gold Cup on the evidence of that race. He was in a handy position throughout a slowly run race and also went after the winner sooner than those in behind. Therefore the form, in my opinion, is not as clear cut as the result. My horse definitely had an advantage throughout the race compared to those in behind, who at times were ten lengths behind off a slow pace. Again I really doubt this would happen in real life, and if it did, jockeys would close the gap sooner rather than wait till the horse has bolted(excuse the pun)

Well my horse was one that was ridden about ten lengths behind and I knew it was never going to win in the race after a couple of furlongs weither its the race Kit or the uploaded instructions something should be done.

Just 2 runners today.
Pedrables (10th) - Last and outclassed in the Queens Vase
Sakhir (8th) - Another who finished last.

Well considering how well my jumpers performed today, this was bound to happen.

Thanks to the team for running the races

I can't wait to eventually get a runner in this league. I have decided to try a different approach breeding wise and my times are not even close to some of what you guys are posting in the CK but I believe it will be enjoyable trying to find a different way of doing things.

Think I had some good fortune today. Catch Me was in the best position throughout the race in the Hardwicke, behind a reluctant leader. The time was fair though and the pace average but it definitely helped being a few lengths off the leader as opposed to 7-10L like the second and third. Though is there a chance they want 1m6?

Megastar should never be able to stay 2m5.5f but in a slow run race his tactical speed, best trip is 2m at Ascot, saw him win the Listed race. I had mulled over running him in the Gold Cup and sending Cruise Ship here and now it is quite obvious that I should have done and Id bet odds on that he would have won. But hindsight is a lovely thing.

Inhisglory was undoubtedly the best horse in the Preakness. Although the pace was very good, and I thought the front runners would run out of steam, I was sure Inhisglory had been given too much to do when the pace quickened and the jockeys got serious. But his change of gears was superior to Sky Train and he won cosily in the end. It will be interesting to see if he is as good on grass in the Juddmonte and Champion before returning for the Breeders Cup Classic?

R21 Gold Chain (7th) - wasn't quick enough.
R23 Happy Ranger (6th) - never got involved.
R28 Madness (5th) - ran ok today and even picked up a little prizemoney.
R31 Golden Call (6th) - barely stays 5f. ran well.
R32 Wild Blue Yonder (10th) - worst run of the season so far.
R33 Hope Springs (15th) - trip was too short. weakened badly last 2f.
R34 Carthage (3rd) - didn't settle in the early stages of the race and did well to make the frame. good run.

well done all winners and placers.
