Gray Is that foolproof though? I thought we had to enter horses correctly based on age, ie if I ran a horse as a six year old last season and try by mistake as I cant remember what age my very small number of returning horses) and enter it as an 8 year old this will it stop me and direct me to enter the seven year old file?

Yes it should be because when you try and upload a horse a two years older it will say you need to upload an earlier horse file TOM is coded and will detect any skipping of years.

TOM has Obi Wan as my trainer. It should be SiriusChill.

Any horse with the same name in your stable has to be one year older else you can't upload it. Should be impossible but this is double checked when I update the form Quote: If you try and attempt last seasons horse at the same age I think it stops loading and says this horse as already been uploaded well it did for me when I tried to load a horse the same age as last year. It will actually give you this message if you try upload the same horse and its 2 or 3 year older or if its younger. If my memory serves me right I haven't changed this message to reflect age differences Quote: TOM has Obi Wan as my trainer. It should be SiriusChill. This has been changed. For future reference you can change your forename and surname by editing your profile in Tom

Re: New Season Uploads And First week entries
Hi,
Not been on for a while and I have only just noticed the new season has started? Have I missed the upload period to join? If so when is the next time or will that be season 3? My horses won't be up to much, I have had to start over but it will still be good fun to try a few of them out
Thanks

Thanks The week 1 races have just been ran and are getting released this week. However, you can still upload horses this week before the deadline on Saturday (i think)

Re: New Season Uploads And First week entries
You can run them in a G3 first time up but prepare for an inflated rating for doing so.
Obviously chances are the horse you're planning on using will be up to the level of group class so it doesn't really matter, but for those running handicappers in group races will be rated much higher than going down the maiden route.

Re: New Season Uploads And First week entries
You can't in NH because of the race codes. You can in the flat.
Just go with if you can enter it in Tom then it is fine. This should be the case for all the races unless there is an error in the schedule

Re: New Season Uploads And First week entries
I have a horse returning for a second season, "Sweet Thing" it's not a maiden and has a rating of 150 over fences. I can't enter it in any of the group races or handicaps but TOM will let me enter it in a NHF race. Help please
