Is it for this season or next season Ryan? Is it 2yo or 3yo?
I say this because I better get back at playing the game and concentrate on my sprinters
The competition seems to be hot!!

This is no joke I should be on 54 wins and not 46!!!
Rich knows about it and they are trying to sort it out. But it has been a week or two now.

HurricaneRun wrote: yeah!! the nhc schedule i believe is not as long running as the flat and the schedule could probably do with some tweaking and updating. I agree for sure that the Paddy Power and Henessy should be handicaps because they are two of the very big handicaps in the national hunt calendar
how do you know the result mate, the races havnt been released??!!!
Hey Ryan, I'm no NHC expert but maybe you and a few others should get together and tweak the NHC schedule then present it to Rich with comments on why the changes should be made. I'm sure he'll listen as long as its not too drastic and take some of the comments on board. Maybe for next year.
I know I will be making some comments for the US league, if its still running next year.
Cheers mate.

looking at usra week 5 noms - not one horse is entered in 4yo+ g1 which is a same. maybe rich could look at making this for 3yo and up so that some of the 3yo 7f stars are racing instead of sitting in the stable!!??

I have Top Lady entered in that race I'm sure other trainers must have a 4yo+ filly/mare

Rich!!!
To qualify for a handicap over the jumps and in US, does my horse need to have had 2 runs or 3 runs?
Matt

I'm thinking of entering Danleigh, just worried about the weight difference.

3 runs to run for certain
2 is borderline discretionary verdict
if running over the same distance last twice?
probably would get in !!!

Some of you may have seen I have been pretty flexible with handicap entries recently. 2 runs over sensible distances will practically ensure entry.

Rich, I know you can't do much now because of Christmas etc but when you come back please look into the 4yo+ races!! There are practically no races at all for these horses in their own age group the rest of the season. I'm not saying to make drastic changes but perhaps introduce 1 race every week or every second week for the rest of the season, races of this kind for 1600m, 2000m, and 2400m.
i.e. say week 11 one race 2400m 4yo+, week 12 one race 1600m 4yo+, week 13 one race 2000m 4yo+ etc or at least every second week if you think that is too much. Interested in your thoughts??
I personally like the older horses racing against each other but others might have a different view.
Cheers

At the start of the season I was planning to retire my 4yo+ horses at this stage of the season because my 3yo's are better.
In the UK from July onwards there is only 1 Group 2 (Summer Mile 8f) and 1 Group 3 (Glorious Stakes 12f) for 4yo's+, even the major handicaps are 3yo+, I would be good to see some 4yo's+ races added but it is better to keep the schedule as realistic as possible IMO.
