Well - I'm quite stoked getting another winner, Du Andiamo sustained a fairly long run and then held off the challengers.
Hopefully the handicapper is lenient :-)
Picked up a fifth over the fences - so for my standards it's been a good weekend for me.

Congrats to all the winners and to the team behind the scenes!

Ashton was 2nd, mugged right on the line in Cumberland Plate

Bromyard qualified for the Pertemps final with a 5th but overall the last 2 days have been pretty poor

Well a pretty poor Royal Ascot forgotten about, thanks to the gamebred front runner Gee Dee Nen winning another Moore's Million race. Will have a crack at the Welsh National next.

Post Re: League Weekly reaction
So with Lockport swindle competing reasonably well this season n Group company, I decided to upload Lockport Stiffled, who is from the same kind of family, and usually finishes a Gnats breath away from Swindle at home. I had a masterplan of entering him at 1m1 very competitive maiden, getting a decent mark then picking up a 1m2/3 handicap later on. Unfortunately for me it ran an absolute blinder in 3rd behind Top Hat an Sand Vixen who already have very good Group 1 Form so looks like season over for Stiffled too now

Unfortunately for me, I have bred a lot of horses who simply can't get near the leaders because there seems to be very little pace, all their best work comes at the end. This means I'm actually running a few horses a furlong or 2 too far for them, an this is producing their best results. It's very odd

Chesham Stakes 7f 2yo - Mistress Misty - front ran as is her preference at home, but faded as the pace quickened and did not respond, will hopefully be better over her preferred mile.

Hardwicke Stakes 1.4 G2 - Shredding Meshaheer - did not really feature and the distance was a stretch for him, maybe better at 1.2, but do not have especially high hopes.

Queen Alexandra 2.5 - Armoured Bay Beast - cast off from an attempted 3.4 chase line, who typically went through rather than over fences, given a shot at the flat here as she will stay all day albeit at much the same pace, very pleased with the battling 3rd on her debute.

Turf TV Maiden 1.1f - The X Royale - lovely 1m flat in game, but from a line (sadly my main miler line) who seems to lack that special league triat, expectations reset to one to make up the numbers.

Racing UK Maiden Stakes 1.3 - Xcitedly Waiting - opened well but consumed by the speed on display here and faded badly, maybe waiting for ever and with considerably less excitement from now on.

Fortria Chase G2 2m - Waiting for Class - showed a lot of class in game, multi time winner at tingle, QM and victor chandler, still going and winner at 8yo in game, but found wanting here and will be looking for scope against lesser competition.

ITBA Fillies Scheme 2m - Master of Education - decent sort who faded badly when pressed and had no response, another looking for a lesser class field, there is a Shetland pony race I hope :)

Kellis Novice Maiden 2m - Double D Patchwork - flat cast off, who is also pretty poor over the jumps, making up the numbers horse and will only run again if i there are no alternatives.

Navan Novice Maiden Chase - X Times Master - travelling well enough until his fall, after forgetting to jump, jumping remains a concern likely switch to hurdles if I can find him a race.

3x 3rds in my first week, reasonably pleased with that.

The Week

Flat has I expected horse's not good enough for the big races and to high for handicaps very disappointing until the Queen Alexandra When Aprils Fool won this horse came from a game I started two weeks ago with breeding for the Grand National in mind out of that game this is the only horse to make it in any of my League team hopefully it can fight out the Cadran at Longchamp also some nice debuts from Overton On Dee and Golf Peg.

Jumps.

Much better week Allied Newcastle winning the Group 1 at Leopardstown and Followed up with Pembroke Dock winning on his debut in the Christmas Hurdle also wins for street party at Cheltenham loves that Hill and Mask Marvel at Kelso got two newcomers making debuts this week looking forward to Milford Haven in the Bumper and the sire of Queen of Hearts King Of Hearts making his debut and my main National Hope.

FLAT

2 x 5th places in races 27 and 29 from old faithfulls. All the new horses, mostly 2yo, I uploaded are still running.

JUMPS

Tree Surgeon ran a nice race to win a novices hurdle. Might be comming into some form, he finished 2nd in a G1 last week.

My new upload, Bluemoon Girl finished 4th in the flat race. Good start to her career.

The horse I really wanted to see run was new upload, Hillbilly Girl, a daughter to Numerator Girl and half sister to Ferocious Girl who have both won in the league. Unfortuneately she fell at the 3rd fence. I will give her another go next week in the 2m 2f novices maiden.

The rest of my horses this week finished about midfield apart from another pull up in a long distance race.
