Finish equal 2nd and we have to play off! Not much we can do but to keep following them next season!

 Re: League Weekly reaction
Had an absolutely manic weekend and few days after, so can finally catch up on a typical racing week of highs and lows. The low was my big hope and gamble in the National falling at the last. He got blocked in running to 2 out but had got out and was making a move. I can't say he would of won but he would definitely of been in the money and gone close, he flies up the run-in. Half of me wishes he'd fallen at the first and not got my hopes up! Congrats to John on the winner and the commentary was a fantastic piece of work. The highs were 6 winners (4 flat & 2 jumps) which is my biggest weekly total ever, including 2 of the all weather finals with horses that I thought were running over the wrong distance! They say it's better to be lucky than skillful. I have almost doubled my previous best ever total and with relatively moderate horses. It proves anyone can be successful if you're sensible with the placing; I have won 26 races and 25 of them are handicaps. Also 11 of the wins have been with gamebreds so it's possible to have lots of fun without spending too many hours and upsetting the better half

 Re: League Weekly reaction
No wins on the flat but I scored some nice Group money in a few races. My horses are paying the bills this year. A couple of jumps winners from horses that I wasn't expecting wins from. Congratulations to Jesterlaugh for his first league winner!

 Re: League Weekly reaction
Great day for me on the flat with 2 winners, Aylestone Hill and Abcott. Many more made the money as well, can't believe how many winners I have had on the flat. Yes, they have been low grade handicaps but still delighted.
The NH has been terrible for me this season. I always put my better horses in this code but I can't remember my last winner. Fingers crossed I win a big handicap before the end of the season.
P.S. I was away last week so just listened to the Grand National commentary and it is sensational lads, great job!! Even better with Ukraine finishing a brilliant 4th.
