Re: The Brag n' Rag Club - Not For The Faint of Heart
My Great White hope is a fillie called Daffodil shes a 4 year old who will run in bumpers this season. She won her bumper races by 10 6 Dist and 10 all in hack canters.
Her mum and Pap will race on the flat( grade 1 winners but not in her class).
Go Daffy.

Keenan she won a bumper by a distance( i worked out it was 17 length's) and the second horse went on to win the Cheltenham bumper next time out. Win or Lose she's the best bumper horse i've had/seen in my game. Ps) What was the name of his horse.

How does it do in the race builder, Ghost? Thats where it matters. Need to be doing under 3:40 and quite a bit under for 2m NHF race at Cheltenham

Does your horse run good in ck and beat all the the horses when you trial for bumper?because game and ck are very different..but wow 17 lengths thats amazing i have never had a horse do that in my game..i forgot the name of the horse hopefully paul will tell us.. I hope your horse does good in the bumper race and I will be watching out for her.. My horse Blades Busy is actually an american orgin horse and have been running on the dirt all her life until I trialled her for my bumper trials and found out she does well..

Re: The Brag n' Rag Club - Not For The Faint of Heart
Boys her last bumper run was in 3.30.70 at punchestown, it's 5 seconds quicker than the next best time for the race and thats after 9 season's.
She also ran 3.30.12 at Doncaster and that was 23.8 faster than standard.
Boys my race builder doesn't work so i've got to run them to find out how good they are.
Snap Keenan she is also US breed but breed in my jumps game, and her fav surface is Dirt.

Re: The Brag n' Rag Club - Not For The Faint of Heart
Did you have her save in the gamepool or is ahe still in your game? If she does well in the league try to find the same parents and try to get another good one like her and also breed the hell out her, it will hopefully improve your lines for the future.. I have made a mistake with one horse of mine named Good Luck Effer I have him in my jumps games but he is 15 years old I was hoping to find a younger version so that maybe he will improve my lines for future league seasons..

Her Father is 15 so he's got one year left and he's never had many/any real top class horses. I've never had much/any luck when i've transfered my flat horses to my jump game for breeding but all of a sudden it's like never getting a bus when u need one then all of a sudden two comes along at once, well i've got a year younger bumper horse called Jinxy Jack who is well in her class and can actually beat her at Cheltenham, I raced them against each other at ascot and he cant get her off the bride( Jinxy's a all out front runner) but at Cheltenham he runs her into the dirt, she got a weakness and that she only just stay 2 miles. They are going to make the perfect couple.

I wish you luck with the breeding Ghost, how many have you uploaded for flat and jumps?.. I really wish that you can fix your race builder so that you can enjoy watching the races maybe you can make a copy of the data folder or the whole so5 folder if you want and delete your shed.etc..and then put your sched mods back in when finish watching the races so that you can enjoy your shedule again..

Re: The Brag n' Rag Club - Not For The Faint of Heart
have you fully updated your so5? my race builder wouldn't work, everytime i clicked on it, it would immediately freeze and so5 would stop working. When i saw i missed about 8 updates, i updated the game and the problem was resolved.

Re: The Brag n' Rag Club - Not For The Faint of Heart
Keen i've got 20 flat horses and about 15 jumpers, most are in my game now. After this season/week i'll be playing my real game and saving the good ones when they come along. I'm not in it to Win I just want to see how good my horses are, if a win a race i'll be happy or have a horse be competitive. I think some people will try to get some of they horses well h'capped, thats not my style. I'm no Barney Curley, my horses will be running on the horses merits.
And cairns i'm about twenty upgrades behind.

Re: The Brag n' Rag Club - Not For The Faint of Heart
"This place open?" Week 1 Monday races in the books and I had lots of bad results with the exception of Race 9 The Old Vic Stakes where I gave Jalupen and PJ a run for their money with Word Up. Maybe it was a good omen last night in a quick breeding game I imported Word Up in to sell at auction for money to work with. She went on to win 90+ Group 1's for her new trainer. Nice training as usual Jalupen and also James Harrison who appears to have upped his game. Bring on the handicaps...

Re: The Brag n' Rag Club - Not For The Faint of Heart
Pleased with my start, most of mine finishing around 10th apart from the ones given an appalling ride (kizzire!). They weren't far from the front which is a good sign and looks like I could be battling it out for a top 10 place in both codes. NH was a very good start suprisingly considering they are made up of 4/5yo flat cast offs with 2 5ths and Hot Miss 3rd which was a nice suprise! Well done to all winners, looks like it's going to be competitive up the top but I'm sure when the handicaps start everyone will be in the winners!

Re: The Brag n' Rag Club - Not For The Faint of Heart
Kings Future was very unlucky in the 3 mile chase. Got caught in a pocket around the bend, took it up and got chinned on the line. He'll be a Gold Cup Contender for sure. Well done to trainer of Rouge Trader. I'm sure we'll meet again in more races.
I was really pleased with how my flat horses ran. Quite a few in the frame.
