Post League Weekly reaction
Firstly may i thank all the team for your hard work cant imagine how long it took to put together all these races
Thanks for your hard work and commitment. Well done to all the winners and placers on opening day

UKRA
Good start for me got a winner on the board early with the impressive victory of GORGEOUS GEORGE
Really delighted with him he ran poorly in the trials but won that nicely Craven & Guineas next for him
also got 5 places Racktagino ran well in Winter Derby Bullett From The Gun ran a strong race finishing
2nd behind the mighty impressive Lompanon Sha Tin Emperor ran his usual good race finishing 2nd behind
Colt Fortyfive Presidents Day was 3rd & Sand Vixen almost made all but got nailed late on finishing 3rd all
in all a really positive start. Looks like we have a dominant force in Jalupan who won half the races today

NHC
Poor start from the National Hunt Team Douvan ran a shocker Cross Girl ran ok in 4th Thistlecrack
made a huge blunder late on when going strong Haffaway ran ok in 4th Limini was my highlight of the day
finishing 2nd behind an impressive Long Engagement. Looks like the National Hunt team is a bit behind certainly not
as strong as the flat team going on opening results but plenty of chances to get off the mark the next 2 day. Looks
like John is going to be a tough nut to crack this season.

Also a Big Up to the Commentator great comms as usual

Thanks agin to the team Marvelous Job lads

Post Re: League Weekly reaction
It's brilliant to finally be back. It's been a long time!
A huge thank you to everyone involved in getting the league back running again. It is much appreciated.

NH
Sudan and Swaziland ran well but the others failed to finish.
None made the money but this week is all about getting a mark

FLAT
Alders End ran very well to finish 6th in the 1m 3YO maiden. Loves the Curragh and will run in the Irish 1000 gunieas if she gets in. The others were just getting a mark.

Congrats to all winners and placers. Looks like winners will be harder with a large amount of trainers, but that's a good thing

Flat

Race 3: Lady Cat (11th) - ran well enough but didn't have the pace of the leaders last 2f. with a bit of luck he should improve for another furlong.
Race 4: Intimidated (11th) - readily outpaced and will definitely improve for an extra furlong.
Race 6: Rainbow Daisy (9th) - never nearer than at the finish. looks like another that wants a bit further.
Race 8: Dream Art (15th) - badly outpaced and was never at the races.
Race 9: Magic Marker (8th) - good run and is yet another who will improve over further.
Race 10: Blue Flamingo (8th) - probably my best flat horse and ran a shocker. can only improve I hope.

Jumps

Race 1: Pure Grain (17th) - dreadful effort. never got involved at any stage.
Race 2: Lady Big (3rd) - much better effort than in the trials but had no chance with the winner who looks very good. will be better on a stiffer track.
Race 3: Blue Fedora (4th) - dual purpose staying novice. ran well and will also be better on a stiffer track.
Race 5: Ashes To Ashes (5th) - ran on well over her minimum trip and should be able to pick up a win or two later in the season.
Race 6: Cairo (U 15th) - ran ok till getting outpaced round the home turn and dumped the jockey at the 4th last.
Race 7: Big Port (8th) - given too much to do by the jockey.
Race 8: Candlekeep (10th) - always behind. my 2m hurdlers look terrible, just hope it was a bad day for them.
Race 9: Hamburger Hill (13th) - will end up in hamburgers if he keeps running like that.
Race 10: Leonardo Da Vinci (5th) - good run. will be better over a shorter trip.

well done to all winners and placers and thanks to Doug for the flat comms.

So far my horses are just not good enough.
Besides to just keep breeding for next season - my only other hope to be competitive will be later in the season when the maiden fields become smaller.
Otherwise it has been a good buzz so far.

Post Re: League Weekly reaction
Flat - Quite happy with the results as most ran well in midfield as expected.
Race 2 - Virakip (9th) - plugged on well to finish not far behind the main principles, will love a big field 7f handicap and those will be the aim.
Race 3 - Kizzire (19th) - what the hell the jockey was doing on this one I'll never know...
Race 4 - Virakip Swift (10th) - Like parent Virakip did well inbehind the big guns and plugged on for a top 10, will be looking at the big field 6f handicaps.
Race 5 - Flawless Victory (13th) - Most dissapointing of the lot, tank completely emptied.
Race 6 - Swift Zip (10th) - Clearly showed a lot of speed early on and probably needs 4f lol, should pick up a handicap somewhere along the line if getting an unchallenged lead.
Race 9 - Fatal Zeo (11th) - Showed to me that he is quite good and will improve certainly for the step up to 1m2f if put in the race by the jock.

NHC - Very happy with these results considering the lack of focus on this part of the game and that all of these are young flat cast offs.
Race 1 - Key Of Caviar (9th) - Ran a good race in midfield and beat some half decent horses in behind, will look at a big 2m handicap hurdle for this one.
Race 3 - Twentyfourhourharcore (5th) - Plugged on well for the money, clearly in behind some very good horses there I think.
Race 4 - Dom Santiago (5th) - Superb run from this horse who was a top miler on the flat and just missed the cut for the flat league. Will improve for the step up to 2m2 and looking forward to seeing it's progression.
Race 5 - Zeo (9th) - Excellent run in a big field and much better than expected, will be looking at the big 2m4f/2m5f chase handicap plates.
Race 6 - Tanahashi (Fell) - Well one of these flat ponies had to tip up!
Race 7 - Guardian Of The Galazy (7th) - Did well, don't really want to make the running again though
Race 8 - Superb Caviar (8th) - Done very well up against some good types, could end up going up in trip if outpaced again.
Race 9 - Prezilla (8th) - Ran a good race in a very hot heat, looks like the best race of the day going on the winners rating, (141!)
Race 10 - Hot Miss (3rd) - Fantastic run that, wasn't the hottest race but it was still a great run.

Hoping for a few more top 10s tomorrow and Wednesday! Congratulations for the team for getting the league back up and running, I think the whole youtube thing was an excellent idea and is tons better than downloading the races into CK. Well done all!

Flat

Not much to write about except the surprising 2nd by Buurmansgek in race 5.

NH

R1 : Enter Sandman 1st : Looks like I have a really good one. Won more easily than the distance suggests as jockey didn't get animated at any stage. Will go chasing in week 2 but looks a classy hurdler
R2 : Pull out the Stops 6th : Got a bit outpaced at one stage. Probably needs softer ground and and extra furlong
R3 : Waterloo Sunset 2nd : Really good run by 2m5 hurdler. Clearly didn't stay but close to winning over fences. Aimed at the 2m5 Auteuil novice races where she is a monster
R4 Uprising 9th : Was always going to be to short and never showed
R5 Precious Angel 2nd : Distance was too short as can get 3 miles but ran a good race finishing well for second
R6 Bizarre Pulled up : Can't assess. Hardly went a yard.
R7 Corridors Of Power 1st : Just got up. Pleasing run as ideally wants further so could be a nice prospect
R8 Ab Ovo Usque Ad Mala 3rd : Jockey went a scenic route on her. But a good run considering she is a better chaser than hurdler. Expecting a big run in week 2 over fences
R10 Libertine 2nd: Given a pipe opener over hurdles and stormed home to finish second. Considering he is a 3m3 chaser I am extremely happy and looking forward to his first run over fences.

Good day for me. A lot of mine aren't going over the correct distance or obstacles, which is standard for my stable in the first 2 weeks as I like to see what other options I may have with my horses

Flat

Race 1 James T Kirk - 10th i know my flat team are handicappers so ok with middle of the field.

Race 3 Wicked Gray - 7th My guinreas horse not good enough will look what to do don't want to enter group races Really see what mark he gets.

Race 4 Gay Ruffian - 8th My commonwealth Horse ran ok in a big field giving me a hope i could do well on the Flat.

Race 5 Whispering Roberta - 5th a solid run and unexpected will have to go to the fillies guineas on the back of this.

Race 6 White Oak - 8th encouraging run my first two year runner made late ground has i expected will find a race somewhere.

Race 7 Transparent - 2nd My best 2yo and ran well here but was over 3lengths behind Momentus so maybe the others in the race ain't up to much.

Race 8 Llandrindod Wells - 7th ok mid field hope he gets better when stepping up a furlong.

Race 9 Pathfinder - 7th Good run in a big field will improve over another furlong.

Overall not bad on day 1 i don't get winners in Maidens on the flat has you get alot of good horse's running in them well done steve you have some good horses.

Jumps

Race 1 Society Run - 4th A good run behind some top trainers will compete at the top level although not the main Hurdler for the Yard.

Race 2 Welsh Pony - 4th another good run i don't think this horse is that good has some in the yard but did well.

Race 5 Chester Avenue - 13th a bad run but hopefully well get a decent handicap because thats what was expected anyway one of the Stables poorer animals.

Race 6 Rogue Trader - 1st first winner of the new saeson diaapointed in the exhibition race but more like it here his aim is the King George so on target for that doesn't stay beyond 3miles so season will then go to Aintree and will Miss Cheltenham has stable has a better chaser.

Race 7 Millers Dressmaker - 2nd a Good run looked like a winner until caught by Leon's Horse season looks bright aim is the mares hurdle at Cheltenham.

Race 8 Classic Filly - 2nd another horse that looked the winner until this time Johns horse came up and caught it but a good run jOhns looking strong but so is Leon and James.

Race 9 Jukebox Simple Minds - 3rd Another placed horse may improve if dropped in trip might try that he still a good horse and will win his share.

Race 10 South Street - Last Hoping this was just a hiccup ran badly but looking on the bright side will get well treated.

A good day with a winner and some Near misses i think these are my best horses ever and hoping to break into the top 5 jumps trainer's this Season.

The worst ride I have ever seen.

Flat

Race 1 Prentals - 1st Got a dream run on the rails and managed to just get up at the finish. Dubai might be a different story though.

Race 3 One Dime - 3rd Great run. My 2000 Guiness horse so should better over the extra 1f.

Race 4 Distance- 2nd Probably my best horse. Ran a great race, the winner must be very good.

Race 5 Simply Kind - 1st My most impressive winner. Took it up 2f out and cleared away.

Race 8 Frederick - 2nd Will be better over an extra furlong. Stuck on well to take 2nd.

Race 9 Special Game - 5th Thought he got a bad ride. Was flying at the end, needs an extra furlong. Good run everything considered.

Jumps

Race 1 Ban - 2nd A good run, was flying towards finish, will hopefully be better at a stiffer track.

Race 2 Great Cash - 1st Messy Race. Not a front runner but because there was no pace he took it up. Impressive winner regardless and very happy with this run.

Race 4 Diamond Chacal - 7th Got easily outpaced and 7th flatters him. Hopefully will be a handicap in him down the line over further.

Race 5 Diamond Ban - 3rd Great run, stayed on well after not jumping too great.

Race 6 Blern - 7th Got Outpaced but was keen and didnt jump well so he will be aimed for a festival Handicap.

Race 9 Red Maker - 9th Was at the back and didnt get close, will try over further.

Race 10 Blains- My Best horse. Probably needs 3m so to win over 2m6 makes this a great run. A better chaser too.

Overall, very happy with my jump horses, I wasn't expecting much after the trials. Hopefully they can pick up a couple of nice races down the line.

Having just watched this the problem is that there should be an 8f straight at Redcar. This is why some horses moved over to the outside rail. I need to shuffle the finishing post forward a few yards, rebuild the course and it should be fixed. The fix will be in the next patch.

Post Re: League Weekly reaction
Well done to everyone for a great start to the season, and if u not had a great day today remember there always tomorrow. The League looks like it's going to be very competitive this season, just what the league needs. I love the look of some of those fast sprinters, I was very surprised how quick the flat races where run, the fast I can remember.

Well the first race I ever ran in the league turned out to be a horror story for one of my horses.

FLAT

Monashee 0 - my Kentucky derby horse ran a shocker, might struggle to get into the derby field now.

Tapit 4 - was running on well at the end and was out wide so it wasn't that bad a run.
Golden Option 4 - Was right out the back and was finishing fast but her style might not be suited to the league.

Mill Reef 4 - Another horse who finished fast but was also out the back, might have bred my milers wrong. They have been a pain.

College Chapel 1 - I think my 6 furlong horses might be my best horses and he showed that, will run in all the top sprint races.

Damson 6 and Reckless Ambition7 , both showed no pace in the 5 furlong races. Poor breeding.

Keen Hunter 4 - Ran Ok but I thought he was better than that.

Overall a poor day, oh well Blackpool beach will be getting a fresh bunch of donkeys

Jumps

Oh So Risky 3 - Ran wide for most of the race and that yellow horse seemed to want a love in but happy enough with that.

Brown Wren 1 - The Best result of the day for my team, she loves to blast of in front and was only entered because I didn't know if she would get soft ground next week so to win on good ground was awesome.

Yorkshire Gale 1 - Tough as Teak and ran on really well.

War Of Attrition 0 - Ran a shocker, a total hold up horse that ran near the front. Very odd. The good thing that comes out of it is he will get a lovely h'cap mark.

Large Action 1 - Going into the season I didn't know if my two mile hurdlers were that good so it was a nice surprise to see Oh So run well and this win. Very Happy.

Long Engagemant 1 - Over the Moon with that, is a grand son of the mighty Flat Gamebred Sire Salt Lake, I had him for so long and had nothing out of him( sent him the wrong type of horses) and now he's in my jumping breeding. The greatest game bred horse I've seen. :D

I think my flat team were overrated and my jump team a little under rated.

In My first season I took a kicking, I didn't win a race until week 11 and that was with horses I uploaded in the window. I won 3 races all year but I won the group 1 RSA chase with a Gamebred. It only takes one horse and u team can improve massively.

Image

If u find a horse like that in the breeding barn I would say save the game so u can go back to it because u never know what u will get out of him, I had him back last march and I never got anything out of him for the flat and just forgot about him for 6 months then for some unknown reason I gave him some of my jump mares and now he's become a important part of my bloodlines for my jump horses.

I say never give up because u horses can improve over night.

Really enjoyed the first day! Not much to scream home about but nothing that ran today was expected to run well!

Race 1: Sharp ten (11th) Ran okay, Wasn't expecting a place or anything. Should relish an extra furlong or two :)

Race 2: Barbatos Restless (15th) pretty poor run, probably drop back to 6f.

Race 6: Speedy Bebe (17th) Ran okay but will probably need a bit further!

Looking forward to the second lot of races already!

Flat
Race 2 1st Little Acorn Off to a flying start with my first runner.
Race 3 2nd Victor 2000 guineas horse.
Race 5 3rd Depend On Me 1000 guineas horse.
Race 6 5th Trident Should improve over another furlong.
Race 10 7th Vintage Act Another furlong will help but may not be good enough.

NH
Race 4 3rd Real Charmer
Race 5 7th Campaspe Sign
Race 6 3rd Gold Coast
Race 7 3rd Cats Quickdraw

Pleasantly surprised how well mine ran, only 3 didn't get placed and those 3 ran a furlong short of their best so there's still hope for them.
