There was one horse that really impressed me today and that was that Char Kadoodd, for horse to run like a scalded cat and still run on at the end was vey impressive. Looks like I'm going to have to find a place in my team for Ansar, how he won after a few bad mistakes i'll never know but he's deserves a place now. Burrogh Hill Lad ran ok, the jockey missed the break was wide all the way but sill ran ok. I think my middle distance chasers might not be that great, I had that feeling going into that race. |

I think I won a graded but not a grade 1. Maybe I can but I still need to gather more horses. They are flat cast offs. My manual training for stamina may be helping me in jumps and hurting me on the flat. |

The first three races where fine a couple of placed horse's my champion Hurdle hope run well in second to Paul's Douvan Street Party was also second in race 2 but Jukebox Simple Minds who just Scrapped in as a handicapper in my league team ran really well considering he needs 2m 4f at that age so might have a good season. Gray I think the jumps are going to be very competitive, lots of different trainers in with a chance. |

the only problem i had were lots of horses running with fat jockeys i had 1 finish 3rd 6lb overweight back to the steam room boys |

Fat man Thomas ran 6pounds over weight. I'm going to have to turn all the jockeys to 10 stone in game. Either that or I'm going to kick them all in the steam room u fat bees.

It's going to be a long hard season for my jumpers after that, and I thought they were a decent bunch too. Cairo ran ok and gives me some hope but the rest were really poor. Looks like I'll be competing in the low grade handicaps this season. |

Horses ran better than expected. Nothing there in my team ( maybe Odysseus but not over that far and possibly Japanese Whispers but over 3miles. They down the pecking order and might fall out) so a bit ahead of where I thought I was. |

As expected mine ran poorly. I just haven't had the time to breed as much this year. However, it doesn't curb my enthusiasm for a great season ahead and I will still aim to win a race at the festival again (for ghost as well as me )Ansar looked VERY impressive Thanks to all running the trials. P.S. My horses in the first 2 races had different coloured silks, any ideas? |
