I was watching the all weather finals the other day and they didn't appear to be handicaps. In the league they are 0-100 handicaps. I don't have a particular issue with them being handicaps, but maybe they should not be capped at 100. It would not be nice to see a horse who won a qualifying race miss out on a final place because they were rated 101 for example. Surely if you win a qualifier you should be allowed to race in the finals? Can the handicap rating be increased to 120 to avoid this happening? |
