				  Get your bets on!

As the betting in TOM is down, Steve is going to price up the races via the previews. Then eveyone will have to place their bets in this thread.

I have 1-2 spare days each week and I should be able to do the payouts/returns the evening the results are out. I believe this will start in week 3.

 Good luck all!

PS Being a n00b. how much money do we start with?

To give everyone time to have a look at the form before Wednesday the races being previewed are all on the flat.

Race 9
 Race 11
 Race 12
 Race 15
 Race 16
 Race 17
Obviously players who have access to the races before Wednesday are outlawed .
You will have odds for those six races only.

I think thats fine and as there is little or no form, 120% is also a good margin to start at!

Some people don't really care about the betting, I just want to watch the races and results. Unless you can setup a market that corresponds with the actual prices on the actual league races themselves which would make sense. The newsletter is great though saying that.

I know that. Clearly you didn't read my post correctly. What I meant was, will these prices effect the prices on the actual league race files. Say if horses price is 3/1 on this will his price be 3/1 on the league race files.

Yes one or two trainers will need to be very careful with the stewards.

It is impossible to do that, the prices in the CK are different to those seen in TOM Betting and on here.
Great idea Keith, but I have that much money in my account it isn't worth me bothering with tbh - and can also see Jardines Lookout getting turned over.

Why so aggressive?

Duke,
This is exactly why I think it should be run outside of TOM. Players have so much money it doesn't have any meaning.
This way it can be run as a mini betting league.

Yeah I like that idea Steve, I figured we'd just be using our TOM funds to use the betting but a starting bank of say £10,000 would be a better idea across all stables.

 What you think?
