This is how things stand.

Trial races closing date is Saturday 16 March at 12pm UK time.
The races will be announced in the next 2 days. If you haven't registered your stable best you do it as soon as possible here

http://sopl.info/

Races will be run the following week.

League week 1 races closing date for entries will be 30 March ( this is subject to change but very unlikely)

Uploads for the league will be allowed once all the trial data is cleared. An announcement when the upload window has opened.

Yeah, I have the kit now, got it through dropbox instead.
but that is the least of my problems, I keep getting a BEX error when I try and run the file. I've just sent a email to Leon about it.
I've sent an email to you as well so you know what's going on.

Problem solved

Just in case of any doubt:

1. Over the next 24 hours I will blow away all the test data - this includes horse files, stable rosters, race entries etc. Thank you to those of you who so willingly tested. Don't worry, there's plenty more opportunities for further testing :)

2. I will liaise with Leon and sort out the final schedules for NHC and UKRA and sort these out. They are useful to those of you who are doing stable trials.

3. I'll also check with Leon re the trial races.

4. Once again, the trial data will be considered test data and all the data will be erased again before the new seasons start. So this means you can choose to use your league runners or not - totally up to you.

Thank you. I appreciate your comments and also your patience as I have a little too much in the way of commitments. However, the plan was always to try and build something that would be able to be more sustainable. I've just added the first part of the new admin module and this will be critical in the future as we need to ensure that the league can be maintained, supported, and customised without needing specialist PHP or MySQL knowledge.

In terms of making things more sustainable, it's great to have someone like Leon on board. Even if he supports the wrong rugby team.

I am looking forward to taking my part in the league, have just uploaded my stable, i don`t expect to challenge for anything other than listed or handicap races, but will use the first season as a learning experience.

Thanks to everyone involved in getting it up and running, also thanks to anyone that has given me advice on the game

Joe
