Thanks to Kev and Gray for running the trials. Will update the newsletter later this week. Remember if you didn't do that well that the handicaps will give you loads of opportunities for wins in the league.

Let everyone know what your thought of your horses performances below.

The NH newsletter will be updated tonight. I have written reviews for races 4, 9 and 10. If you want to write a review for a race just send me a text file with your review in it and I will include it in the newsletter tonight.

If anyone wants to do a trainer preview for the forthcoming season based on the trial races let me know. If not I will do one.

Please post below which race you will cover so we don't get duplicates

send the text file to leonvanrensburg at yahoo dot com

really excited about my nh stable my first ever win was so exicting even though it was just trials..i know nothing about jump racing but i think im starting to love it.lol...2 wins and 2 seconds and a fourth..im just speechless im still buzzing from those 2 wins..here are the horses that did well..

R1 2m - 1st Hawkins Blazer. Amazing win was not expecting much just hoping she would not fall.Still got her in my gamepool so i might breed her hoping for more like her in the future.
R2 2m (bumper) - 2nd Blades Busy. Excellent run when i trialled for bumper races at home that horse was the most consistent.
R9 3m1 - 1st Good Luck Effer. Cant believe i won the double entry race: He was always at the front most of the race so i was really not paying attention to him because i thought he would run out of gas and fade but boy was i wrong, i was paying attention to his stable mate Nevada Joy who finished 17th, but with 2 furlongs out i said Good Luck Effer might have an effing chance to win this thing. I have him in my breeding barn not gamepool but when i checked he was 15 years old so i think i am in trouble..
R12 3m7 - 2nd Spiffy Cheyenne. Very good run did not expect the horse to even stay the trip.
R7 2m7 - 4th Aerope My Mate. Very decent run bred by a flat stallion and a jumper mare, think i got the distance wrong a little with that horse.

Disapointed with R4 my horse Blazer Knight My Mate was doing really well until he fell. Probably my best 2m horse really, performs really good in home trials..

Thank you everyone for their hard work for making the trials happen..Congrats all winners and placers..

My horse's ran as I expected none of them except 1 was in my league stables Flat Or Jumps just took a few out of my Folder of pool horse that wasn't going into any team for the forthcoming season so I am fairly happy that the horse's I have in my jump teams well be competitive in the handicaps as some ran some good races although didn't trouble the judge.

But as for the flat horse's it is as I feared going to be a long winless  season ahead I don't really play the flat so most of the team I will have will be ex jumpers and will be a small stable around 10 with no 2yo's I am looking forward to the jumps season ahead and working with Leon,Paul,Matt and kev and the rest of the people behind the scenes and a special Thank you to dave for all his hard work.

r1 - Mr Prospector (8th) better over further. watch out for him in hurdle races around 2m4f, he'll be a big player in the top races.
r2 - Fiddlers Anonymous (3rd) chaser who ran here to give me a bit of interest. did much better than expected.
r3 - Humble Duty (3rd) I didn't think my 2 milers were much good so have to be happy with that.
r4 - Irig (Fell) had the race won when tripping over the last. good hurdling prospect from 2m - 2m4f.
r5 - Mr Benn (3rd) ran well but no chance with winner and runner-up
r6 - Golden Egg (4th) another who ran well.
r7 - Sonic Fury (9th) let down by poor jumping.
r8 - No Culture (4th) far too keen early and did well to hang on for 4th.
r9 - Colonel Felnigg (16th) another that didn't settle and this one threw away his chance as a result. much better than he showed here
r9 - Monopolist - (9th) ran ok but not good enough.
r10 - Bat In The Belfry (4th) really frustrating horse. a pacemaker that never gets to the front in the ck, but in two trials, one flat and one jumps, it has set the pace. ran much better here than in the flat trial a few months ago so have to be pleased with 4th.
r11 - Depth Charger (8th) not good enough.
r12 - Soothsayer (8th) not sure about the trip, might need further but didn't look good enough anyway.
r13 - Broken Record - (8th) jumped like its legs had been tied together and was well beaten. first and second were far too good and may well dominate the top long distance chases.

My runners did better than I first thought and Irig was unlucky not to win. Looking forward to the start of the season and hopefully getting a few winners. Best of luck to all and hope everyone has at least one winner.

Newsletter is looking graet Leon. I'll finalise my jumps team over the next few days and send a stable preview.
