Downloaded SO5 for Mac last weekend and loving it. Great to see that the CK has now been added in and it's pretty much the same as PC (i can't see that anything is missing). However, the killer question... Is there an online league for Mac? Can Mac horses run with PC horses? If so then i will put some serious hours in and get a stable into the league. Longtime lurker so good to finally post something. Been playing since SO3 but never taken part in the league as missed the dates and the whole thing was far too confusing. The old GUI was a nightmare, at least to me. |

welcome mate unfortunately i cant answer your question i have no idea if mac horses can enter hopefully someone else will know and post here |

Hey, thanks for the welcome. After around 5 years of playing this game on and off and reading pretty much every forum post ever written I find it odd to be communicating with you Paul... I'm breaking into the inner circle! Thanks for all your posts over the years. It helps to have people like you, The Duke, Scatters etc around. Had some Monsters on my old PC game but never got into the league. Always messed up the timing. SO4 on Mac didn't have CK and it sort of sucks the fun out of it knowing that you're not aiming towards anything. I think I read a post this morning somewhere saying that Mark changed the coding for the CK so that it would operate cross platform. I'm hoping this is the case and I can enter the league on the 30th. If so I will put some serious time in so that I can give you boys a run for your money, although seeing as I started on Saturday and have nothing special yet it may be a struggle! HK sevens won't help my progress this week either! |

I also asked this question to SO5 Support and the answer is yes. Now to find some horses which are actually decent. I wonder if the save games are also transferrable? |
