Depends on what you mean. I have a few where the absolute potential is full and the realised potential is slightly under (no more than 1-2% less than absolute potential). I think these can run as fast but there is more variability in their performance but I don't have any hard data that this is so. I do know that they can run equally fast as their siblings who have matching full and realised potential bars. |

I think it's harder for the flat less variables, but jump horse's have more chance to be good and not have a full bar. Trapper John only has about 80% bar but finished 3rd in novice hurdle for me, it shocked me but I suppose it could just have been a bad race time will tell. Im going to import a horse called( observe) when I can, he's only got 50% bar but had about 90% if he fulfilled his potential( sadly he didn't) but he's a Fantastic jumper and i'm going to aim him at the National. Will his jumping keep him in the game, we will find out. |

I have hardly any with full potential bars. I know that Botanist, won a Grade 3 and Crazy Wolf who won impressively don't. Nor does Dibine Chemistry who was 2nd in in group 1 in Dubai |
