Sorry for the late reply. Before this league I can honestly say I've never watched a single SO5 jump race let alone even having a jump horse. I've watched most of these races (skipping ahead to the last furlong almost every race) and I like them. I wish though there were more photo finishes. I'm contemplating entering a jump horse next league but probably just one horse. Mostly because I want the action. I started from scratch on my flat side breeding so my time is going toward that now.

What about in real life? Have you taken much interest in the steeplechasing scene out in America? I don't know much about it but I know a few of the major races and follow it as and when I can and I believe you've got your big midsummer race the New York Turf Writers Cup coming up soon, and I was wondering whether in real life you follow this at all or whether you prefer the flat racing?

Can't say I take much of an interest in jumps racing. Flat's my game.

The Virginia Gold Cup is the nearest big race to me. I remember a horse named Saluter who was a local hero...
