Noticed in the form card for R7 John Smiths Gold Cup that the trainer iceman had 2 entries being shown as having run in the race. I looked at his stable entries and one of those horses 'Wigh Road' was entered for race 6 Silver Cup but didn't run.

On another note his two horses in race 6 - their names aren't capitalized like all horses names in the game are. Are there some sort of technical difficulties on my part or your part?

I just checked it looks like a horse file was accidently put into the wrong folder I run the race but I didn't notice after all I just type in the race details select the the horses to enter the race and click save and run lol I don't watch every race and don't check for double entrants for trainers as I don't expect to see them :) but nothing can be done about it now.

It wasn't you. It was the way the horses were arranged into folders before the races were run. Nothing you did at all.

I understand mistakes happen but I believe iceman deserves a more formal apology than "Sh*t happens" from a league representative. Seems the right thing to do to me.

I agree. Also you could check the amount of runners against TOM.

Sorry Matt you know exactly what it takes to run the races it was just two of us Sunday if you expect me to examine every little detail in every race it is hard enough checking every race for horse files because trainers have uploaded horse's without resetting the files and now you expect me to check the runners with tom yea lets just add more time on us.

You're right I do and I managed to check the amount of runners against the amount of entries in TOM. I mean it must take about 30 seconds for each race. As for checking the horse files to see if they have been reset, I don't think you did in upload week?

My comment was advice but as usual it is taken the wrong way.

What does pick pick pick mean?

Sorry about this. I normally check the race numbers but my time is limited and haven't had any problems so far so just sorted the races. Even managed to leave one of my own out of a race NH race 6.

Yup...

One of mine has been left out of a race too which is rather annoying. I kind of sit on both sides of the fence with this, I appreciate that the league is voluntary and that it is run in people's spare time (which if I had more of I would help out as much as I can). But at the same time these are pretty basic mistakes that I would think it would be normal practice to look for and rectify before the races are released, or even notice at the time of running the races. This and the weight problem last week, though nobody seemed too upset about that. Buy hey sh*t happens right?!

Something I did think of about the weight issue is, is there a way for it to be coded into TOM to display the weights horses carry? Maybe not for handicaps because that gets a little complicated, but for feature races could it be coded so that we can see the weight a horse carries and so can decide if it should run or if there has been a mistake.
