Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Think i have got my hands on a real iron horse just trialing subs for transfer window for breeders cup
Deadly Dozen my 1m2f 3yo colt out stays my derby horse Bymount over 1m4f at Santa Anita in every trial front runs the whole way and stays on right to the end & at 1m4 nothing i have can get to within a length of him
its now a bit of a dilemma how i campaign him hes a really nice horse and is solid from 1m1 up to 1m5

Flat Prewiew Pontypwl Racing (Simpleminds)
Looking forward to the season ahead the yard is hoping to beat its best winning total of 12 winners which the yard got in season one. Season two the Yard got its first Group winner and Royal Ascot winner and winning Group 1 Handicaps beat the Prize money the yard won in Season one so in season three i am hoping to get a group 1 winner other than group Handicaps below is what i call my best chances of getting group winners.
Welsh Maid 5F 2-y-o Filly by Holywell-Afonwen Topspeed my best 5f Juvenile will be aimed at the top 5f races for 2y0's if not good enough will end up in nurseries.
Afonwen Grey 6F 2-y-o Colt by Gods Token Grey-Afonwen Topspeed Another Afonwen Topspeed juvenile that gets 6furlongs and like the above juvenil i am hoping the yard has improved it's flat horse's this season and will be aimed at the top 6f 2yo races.
Builth Wells 1m 2f 2-y-o Colt by Geoff Lewis-Chepstow Walk Best staying Juvenile will be a while before seen on track and very hopeful to win some top late juvenile races.
Penygarn 1m 4f 3-y-o Colt by Builth Wells- Ewloe My only 3yo classic contender aimed for Derby will sonn know what chances he's got his father is my best staying 2yo so stamina not the problem ability might be.
Whistling Tiger 6f 4-y-o Filly by Alpine Skier- Welsh Maid Mum is speed this horse has both speed and a late burst top honours either Group Or Handicaps stays 7f so versatile.
Milk Heart 5f 4-y-o Stallion by Holywell-Holywood Tough Sprinter like the milk heart geoff lewis trained to finsh second in the wokingham at royal ascot behind melindra.
Briton Ferry 1m 4-y-o Stallion by Nap Hand-Agent Scully Out of my top Bumper horse Agent Scully from last season decided to aim for 4+ mile races as i think the 3y0 races will be tougher than the older races.
Cwmbargoed 1m 2f 4-y-o Stallion by Geoff Lewis-Agent Scully Another Scully horse won all trial races over this distance but never showed over 1m or 1m 4f so hopeful its just a freak and can pick up top handicaps over 1m 2f.
Clutterbuck 2m 2f 5-y-o Mare by Park Avenue-C C Balds Named after myself and horse named by Fred Winter who won at Cheltenham Festival making 7 wins in a row before sadly being killed the following season when falling My oldest and best stayer hoping for Chester Cup or Pitmans Derby Glory.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
A rather Rag Tag bunch this year, unsure how good they are. My Trailing was up and down and not sure if my trails were good and they were a good bunch who beat each other up or just a very inconsistent bunch. Will soon find out. I don't think I have a Warrior Queen this year and my two year olds have a lot to prove.
Flourishing 2yo- Should be my top two year old but she's trying to fill big boots in Warrior Queen.
Dayjur 2yo- The only Decent horse Warrior Queen produced, likes to drop out last and come with a late rattle, unsure if he will be a league horse.
Ghostzapper 3yo- My triple Crown horse, hope he lives up to his namesake. Can run in all the races and is not too bad on the grass either.
Emperor Jones 3yo- My top miler but will not run at Newmarket( hates the course), Very talented but very quirky.
Actenango 3yo- My derby horse, the best horse I've had over the distance but not sure if he's good enough to compete against the best.
Moon Madness3yo-My St leger horse, a lovely horse who should give the best at the distance a run for there money.

My Team........... I dont know what to expect....Newbie Virgin They were all good in my Home game, and these were the best of all my exports of a 27 Season career in SO 5. Who should I be looking out for?? Who are the Main players here then??

I had one extra place given to me this week so I had to do some breeding today and I've come up with a nice horse for the world cup, a horse called Queenledo by ghostzapper.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Didn't spend a great deal of time improving on my stock after last season being as SO5 is winding down. That being said I have the best horse I've ever bred in the league this year. Take Notice is a great runner who has dropped many great runners. I believe I have 5 of her offspring on my team this season. Her full sister was my Kentucky Derby horse but the clone rule kept her out. Of the others Spin Zone with his late kick and preference for soft turf might be a player. Think I'll be toiling in the cheap handicaps this season. But the race secretary can fully expect me to help fill races this season like last season at the expense of winning percentage. Good racing to all!

No problem! I look forward to my horses thrashing yours! Bwahahaha Just kidding. We're both doomed against the likes of jalupen, Nashwan, Ghostzapper and PJ. Good luck though! We're both gonna need it.
