can someone please tell me why people whose horse have had 2,3 or even 4 runs will suddenly turn into a world beater and win a group race, surly anything rated 85 and under will have a fantastic chance in a decent h/cap in fact 25 more h/cap races were added this season for these horses,I will go on record as saying no horse will win a group race this season thats had 3 or more races and be rated under 95 (obviously g1 h/caps exempt) please think about your noms. I have 1 horse in my stable rated under 100 and he could have ran in a gp3 this week but instead he goes in R1 over 7f now hopefully he will win if he does he goes to st james palace next week, if he gets stuffed he WILL win the hunt cup plan your noms please theres no fun in seeing your horse trashed every week I know ive been there.in fact no horse rated under 96 has won a listed/grp race all season.play the game to win races not just to take part, think smart, by the way this is not a personal attack at anyone just wish I had a few rated 80-100 I would be killing those h/caps. |

Logic steve I agree but trainers like running horse's in big races and unless you bring in rating restrictions trainers will put them in and after all if trainers rather finish last in a Group race than win a Handicap its up to them. Gray |

I understand what your saying gray but a lot of work was put into helping new trainers get winners, but it seems they now have the best of both worlds whereas they have the new races you introduced and the group races, whereas I struggle to find races for half my lot every week whats the point of adding handicaps if theyre not being used properly, if they want to run in group races perhaps take the 25 races you added and make them group races(I know this wont work) they will soon get fed up being last every week so perhaps a rating restriction is the answer |

Maybe 'cause they don't want to run against my handicap buzzsaws! ![]() Just curious Steve... Is someone running a pacemaker type horse that will weaken your pacemaker type horses chances? |

2 in the same race mate rated under 90 will run with mine for half the race then drop away but the damage will be done by then |

U cant bar horses from races or we would have a 6 runner oaks and a 9 runner derby. That's not good for any one. |

why not ? we bar good horses from h/caps because of their rating, just look at the top of the trainers table u and Jamie have had 15-20 less runners than anyone and were only in week 4 so you are being penalised for having good horses just find it a bit frustrating that people are calling for more h/caps we give them more then they are not used, theres 26 horses running this week in group races rated under 90 that have already run how many of them will win? we could always turn the group races into h/caps would that be better |

I have a stable full of moderate horses, and find it fantastic fun to try to win a handicap with them all. So far just one winner, but I am sure I will get at least five by the end of the season. If I ran my horses above their grade they would come last, where is the fun in that. Players need to be more realistic and use horse management much better. |

Perhaps a Restriction on just Group 1 races maybe a answer but we don't know what the level of the playing field will be like in SO6 as I believe everything will be different and geared towards a more level playing field where constant breeding wont mean you have a big advantage over the go slow player. It would have given the 90-105 rated horses something to aim for, it tough for those horse they are stuck between a rock and a hard place. I knew going into this season that I was going to have less runners but I'm fine with it. In real life group runners run less. I think next season will be interesting by all accounts because its going to be easier to enter and what happens if they get 100 odd trainers wanting to enter, the league could implode. I think the schedule is 100% perfect. |

totally agree gray but law of average says the more you play the better chance you have of getting a star, but would love to see a stable of 4 horses win a classic however we would all know its a good horse by its maiden/trials run and it wouldn't be rated under 90 |

I agree with the call for better horse management BUT you cant put a gun to there heads I am really interested to see how Mark is going to level the playing field not an easy thing to implicate TRAINER A spends say 2 months playing 3 seasons TRAINER B spends 2 months playing 50 seasons yet both have equal chance of finding equally good lge horses its not going to be an easy job makes my head hurt thinking of how that would work. |

Yes sounds intriguing. |

With every version of SO (since online lge) its always been the same People who put the time in reep the rewards Obviously with commitments alot of people cant put the time in that others can or some people like to play really slowly and just could not get the seasons in needed to breed a group lge horse i am for leveling the playing field BUT i just can't work out how he is going to do it |
