So with starters orders 5 basically now ended as a competitive game to get breeding done for leagues etc I wonder if some of the experienced top players will share any of there top tips for us novice players to learn from?

To Be Honest there is no secret just alot of time goes into finding these monsters alot of seasons thousands of seasons
A Stupid amount of work when you think about it.

I have never hidden anything from other trainers in lge or players on forum always been very open about how i went about it
would be interested to hear from the other trainers in case i missed something but i think i tried just about everything

Plain And Simple anyone who has had success in the past or present in lge has put a massive amount of hours into there team
and that is the only secret to success IMO

The only thing was the ttf system i only found out a year after game was released that it could be copied and reused
Soon as i found out i disclosed the info on forum i think that helped other trainers alot like Ghostzapper to be more competitive

Paul was the ttf files kept a secret then. I started using then on August the 17th, I wasn't going to use them at first but I filled every slot up and I had about 400 horses saved up on my transfer pool and was losing my old horses. U and Andy was always forth coming with info, I always thought a few others kept it close to their chest.

Mushy there was no fast track to success, I think mixing u horses is help full, like mixing a 1m6 with a 1m horse. If I look back at some of my better horses they had odd breeding. I found if I bred my best horses colts/mares that they never came out with better horses. I found out my best mares never came out with good horses, all my top mares from the last season never produced great race horses. I must have bred 200 times with My Group one winning mares Warrior Queen and Kerrera and never got a decent horse.

I think its luck of the draw.

Paul did u read Marks blog on Legends. I think it would be a mistake if Mark lets people bred with them, it will shorten the life of the game and will be trouble for the league.

I remember at the time i could not believe it because the amount of great horses i lost
I kicked my own backside that i never even tried to copy the ttf file
So undoubtedly others knew about it long before me maybe they kept it as a secret i dont know.

it took me a while to master using the ttf system soon as i knew all the ins and outs
into using the system i did a full walkthroough in pictures and put on forum that was about 2 weeks after the person posted on forum
about copying ttf files i cant remember who it was maybe Andy but thats a guess.

I have always liked to help others some might call me naive but i like helping people out
especially newbies who want to start in the lge.

Some like to keep everything close to there chest but thats never been my way

If there are secrets or a quick way i have never found it
i remember someone said they had a secret about the game and after the window they would release the info
i dont know who it was cant remember but hopefully they come forward again and spill the beans
but find it very hard to believe it to be honest

I Like everything Mark does with SO Series but bringing legends back is just unrealistic
how can red rum run in the 2014 grand national or how can shergar run in the 2020 Derby
but its down to the players choice you dont have to have legends to be honest i am not sure what this
adds to the game but Mark is the man would not question him i no doubt will throw in a few at some point

Breeding to legends opens a huge can of worms i doubt it will happen
on the plus side it would take 5 mins to make a lge team instead of 5 months constant play

but again i doubt it will happen

I would rather breed my own homebred future legends

I agree with him it will make the game harder though

Have they had legends before then. I like the idea of having the old superstars, perhaps it's just me.

I have no problem with legends as its an option for each player to make so no problem
I just think its a little unrealistic but no problem with it

I remember when u put it up, that's how I learned about it.

I hope if there were any cheats people would come forward with them, I've wondered if there were quicker ways to get better horses. I'm the same as u if I could help newbies out then I would,

I dont think there are any cheats/shortcuts in the game i would be stunned if there was

One things for sure i will be the same as i have always been if i find anything in SO6
it will be posted on here as soon as i find something that is helpful to others

i think breeding with legends could actually be cool... why not like.. i know a few league related issues it could cause but surely all the ''best'' trainers in this game will still be the best in the next game because of the hours ya do put in, id ideally like to see the ttf file go

Why is everyone so obsessed with cheats to get monster horses, I prefer to play more realistically.

The problem I have is lets say u could bred straight away with the legends then u going to have monster game horses straight away, then u going to win all the best races and then there's no challenge and the game will soon lose it's appeal. I like the legends because u can make u game harder, I'd use it so winning the top races was harder. Winning the top races like the Gold Cup should be hard.

Agree with all of the above I will probably use them to make my game harder too
