The Final is a Listed Handicap and here is the Rule on Novices in Handicaps

3. G1, G2, G3 Handicap Hurdles
Open to all horses aged 4+ except novice hurdlers with less than 3 runs in hurdle races
If more than 30 entries top 30 in handicap will race others will be eliminated

It doesn't say listed handicaps so Leon will have to let you know but I think if you get 3 runs it would be fine.

I think the same question was asked last season and my understanding is that novices who have qualified for the final will be allowed to run. I'm sure that's what happened last season. afterall, it's not really fair to run a series of qualifiers and then change the entry requirements for the final.

for future seasons it might be worth making all of the qualifying races and final the same grade.
