I think recent form can be put in the bin now that the ground is good again, the form at the start of the season is better when the races were run on it. I think u horses will improve now that the ground is good because all u horses are good ground horses.

I think u are underestimating Survarj because he looked very good at the start of the season and the race could be run to suit, I think my horse and Jamies could battle it out early and set it up for a closer.

Looking at the Gold Cup I think it could be a messy race, no natural front runner in it at the moment.

Day 1.

Race 1 -- Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle G1 -Greenhills Joy- Will Like the Ground and will be running on at the end perhaps nick a place.

Race 2 -- Racing Post Arkle Novice Chase G1 -- Mass Appeal - Has been a bit dissapointing and will need a massive jump in form to get involved.

Race 3 -- JLT Handicap Chase -- Generosa- Will love the ground and is well h'capped so should go close.

Race 4 -- Stan James Champion Hurdle -- French Holly- Stepping up from h'capping company but the ground is perfect and will be hoping we get a fast paced race so he can run on from the back. Ew shot.

Race 5 -- OBLG Mares Hurdle -- Mossvile- Possibly the most talented hurdler the trainers ever had but the good ground is a slight problem but still hoping for a great run.

Race 8 -- Neptune Investments Novices' Hurdle -- Barney Knows- Always run's his race but would love a easy lead to show his best, EW chance.

Race 9 -- RSA Novice's Chase G1 -- Three Counties- This race is My Gold Cup with a win and a second in the last two runnings and Hopefully Counties can continue that run, loves the course and the going the only problem is if there's no pace.

Day 2

Race 11 -- Bet Victor Queen Mother Champion Chase -- His Song- Been found wanting all season might make the top4.

Race 12 -- Glenfarclas Handicap Chase -- Sidbury Hill- Loves soft ground and will be there or there abouts.

Race 13 -- Fred Winter Juv. H'cap Hurdle -- Senorita rumbilita-- Been very poor so far, lovely weight and loves the ground so we will see.

Race 15 -- Golden Miller Novices' Chase G2 - - Returning - Up and down performer not expecting to much.

Race 16 -- Pertemps Final Handicap Hurdle -- Welsh Oak --Top Class performer who should be running in the World Hurdle, loves the ground and great weight my Banker of the week. I had a banker in this race last season who finished second.

Race 17 -- Ryanair Chase G1 -- Gaye Brief-- Always the brides maid never the bride, is this the race when he finally puts on the Dress.

Race 18 -- Ladbrokes World Hurdle G1 -- Material World-- Can my second string win, had a great season up to now.

Race 20 -- Falke Walwyn Kim Muir H'cap Cup Chase -- Rig Steel- Everything in her favour will her jumping hold up,shes very good if she jumps.

Day 3

Day 3

Race 21 -- JCB Triumph Hurdle G1 -- Sybillin- Been waiting all season long for good ground, will find out how good he is.

Race 22 -- Vincent O'Brien County Handicap Hurdle -- Tropical Lake finally gets some good ground and has a nice weight hopefully will jump better now we are on good ground.

Race 23 -- Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle G1 -- Flying Oats-- She talented but today we will see how good, might get in a battle with Jamies horse. It could be a fast race.

Race 24 -- BetFred Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase G1 -- Santa Concerto-- Not aimed at this race, with the ground against my best horse Lo Stregone. It could be a messy race with no front runner, might take up the pace

Race 27 -- Johnny HrndersonGrand Annual Handicap Chase -- Savitha-- Good weight and good ground but her jumping is horrible, will hit one of the two downhill fences.

Race 28 -- Paul Moores Grade 1 -- Maori Venture-- Should run a good race and we will find out how good he is.

Hope it goes better than last year, it was a disaster last season :D

Day 1

race 1 Quadraphenia : Ground ok. Always thereabouts. Has a chance

race 2 Rosy Cross : Not much chance on good ground

race 3 Inhuman Shield Probably too much weight

race 4 Daylight Robbery : A few lengths of the best. Might place. Course Suits

race 5 Risk Averse: Big chance here. Might be a furlong too far

race 6 Swap Force : Doubt he will stay

race 8 Carry on Cruising : Top class. Hard to beat here. Probably my best chance of the day and the festival.

race 9 Despicable Me : Course Suits. Ground is perfect. Will be thereabouts

race 10 Abbey Road Started to find some form. Well in. Rated much higher as a chaser but equally good as a hurdler.

Day 2

race 11 Buccaneer : Loves soft ground. Loves course. Expecting a big run.

race 12 Craftsman: Distance will test stamina. Not much chance

race 13 Abbey Age: Been disappointing

race 14 Taskmaster Won last time. Has a chance.

race 15 Something Good Big chance. Will be right there with a clear round

race 16 Western Winds Actually a better chaser but been running well over hurdles. Course suits.

race 17 Journey Home Rynair Chase. Really want to win this race. Uploaded with this race as a target race and has a big chance. Hopefully the jockey doesn't leave it too late. Will be right there with a clear round.

race 18. Afraid of Heights. Versatile mare. Hurdles/Chases are both fine. Always thereabouts. Course suits. Should be in the mix.

race 19 Audacity Better hurdler and probably too much weight. But gets his ground.

race 20 Moral Issue Thereabouts with this type of weight. Place chance

Day 3

race 21 Runaway Place chance at best

race 22 Electric Energy Disappointing so far . Needs to improve

race 23 Misogynistic Won't beat Oscar Well. Should place

race 24 River Dynasty Huge chance. Loves course and gets her ground. Expecting her to go very close. Aimed at this race.

race 25 William Tell Lots of weight but still has a good chance

race 26 Master of Profession Going to find it hard carrying so much weight

race 28 Red Revolt 2nd in last years national. Race hard to assess at present as there are only 2 entries.

At the arc meeting both Smiles and Country Vacation have big chances.

1 Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle G1 - Amber Case - G1 winner could go well but best form on softer ground.

4 Stan James Champion Hurdle - Hailstorm - Dual G1 winner big chance but all wins have been on soft ground.

5 OBLG Mares Hurdle - Fats Life - EW chance.

6 National Hunt Novice Chase - Cervantes Hunter - Should stay, major chance.

9 RSA Novice's Chase G1 - Script Writer - EW chance.

15 Golden Miller Novices' Chase G2 - Mister Snowball - EW chance.

16 Pertemps Final Handicap Hurdle - Needwood Comet - May need further but not out of it.

17 Ryanair Chase G1 - Perdition - In and out performer, could go well.

18 Ladbrokes World Hurdle G1 - Fat Rush - Not performed as well as I thought it would but still in with a chance.

21 JCB Triumph Hurdle G1 - Blue Flower - Should be thereabouts.

23 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle G1 - Dewy - Strong EW chance.

24 BetFred Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase G1 - Zenda Rivera - EW claims if it stays out of trouble.

28 Paul Moores G1 - Silent Hunter - G3 win over 4m3f on only start this season, will need a good one to beat this.

The ground is a concern as most of mine like it on the soft side and the one two that like better ground seem to have found the soft.
But you know what they say, a good horse can go on any ground, so maybe I don't have any good horses.

R17 Ryanair Chase G1 - Thethingaboutitis Not the horse of last year only win this season was maiden hurdle in week 1 but if could find his form of last season could pull off a surprise.

R18 Ladbrokes World Hurdle G1 - Magical Dance Tough mare with four wins this season including last two wins in Grade 2 once headed seems to fall away but love this track both Knockara Beau and Material girl have beaten her this season so top3 but i hope she wins she deserves a Grade 1.

Post Re: This Is It, The biggest week of the year.
My stable has been out of form the last 2 weeks, so not really sure what to expect.

R1 Top Of The World (Supreme Nov Hurdle) - has run some decent races already at the highest level but needs to bounce back from a shocking effort last time out.
R2 Wonder Of You (Arkle) - consistent performer and has an ew chance in a open contest.
R3 Glitterball (JLT Hcap Ch) - I had high hopes for this one but she has been something of a disappointment despite a couple of placed efforts. Will be happy to finish in the first 5.
R4 Shakespeare (Champion Hurdle) - Could do with an extra 2f and is likely to get outpaced from the top of the hill.
R5 Flakey Dove (Mares Hurdle) - Will run her race but this is a hot heat and will find a few too good.
R8 Boucher (Neptune Inv Nov Hurdle) - Good early season form gives him a ew shout and soft ground will help. Just not sure if it is soft enough.
R9 Carmen Blue (RSA Nov Chase) - Caught between a rock and a hard place. The 4m novice chase is too far and she will find this trip too sharp. Has an outside chance of sneaking into the frame.
R10 Park Road (Coral Cup) - Decent handicapper and has a solid ew chance.

R11 Dusty Tools (Champion Chase) - Likes the track but has been a bit hit and miss this season. Has an ew chance if his jumping holds up.
R12 Wonderland (Glenfarclas Hcap Chase) - An encouraging debut has been followed by several lack-lustre efforts. Would have a very good chance at the weights if she produces her best.
R13 Little Drummer Boy (Fred Winter Juv Hcap Hurdle) - Pace pusher running off top weight. Will most likely set the race up for something that's better handicapped.
R14 Oceanic (Champion Bumper) - Impressive winner on her second start but has been woeful last two runs. More than capable of winning or placing but could just as easily finish in the last three.
R15 Pinewood (Golden Miller Nov Chase) - Has been running over 2m4f all season but I'm not convinced the trip suits. Very tempted to switch with Wonder Of You and run in the Arkle instead.
R16 Soldier Blue (Pertemps Final) - Very good horse in the ck but has been dreadful all season. Likes the track and ground will suit more than in previous weeks. If he had run anywhere near his ck form this season would be rated closer to 150 than 105.
R17 Time Charter (Ryanair Chase) - Has struggled to hit the heights of last season and is a better hurdler than chaser. However, C&D&G will suit and has a genuine ew chance if her jumping holds up.
R18 Cave Dweller (World Hurdle) - Hurdling debut. Unlikely to see out the trip and running to give me a bit of interest in the race.
R19 Upside Down (Byrne Group Plate) - Jumping needs to improve and better over slightly shorter. Probably too high in the weights as well.
R20 Celebrate (Kim Muir Hcap Chase) - Not sure what her best trip is tbh. Has place claims but will be happy to make the top 5.

R21 Daylight (Triumph Hurdle) - Disappointing so far and can't see him getting competitive in this. Mid-field finish looks the best I can hope for.
R22 A Deeper Blue (County Hcap Hurdle) - Re-routed from the Champion Hurdle and should have a solid ew shout. Would prefer softer going though.
R23 Bad Dream (Albert Bartlett Nov Hurdle) - Looks up against it and will struggle to finish in the top 5.
R24 Topper (God Cup) - Has been very disppointing and will do well to finish in the first 8. Entered solely to give me a runner in the race.
R25 Tobermory (Foxhunters) - Trip will suit and while he carries top weight, this doesn't look the strongest renewal. Should be thereabouts.
R26 Night Nurse (Martin Pipe Hcap Hurdle) - Has to give over 14lbs to all bar 2 of his rivals. Likely to be in need of a nurse by the end of the race.
R27 Sea Shanty (Grand Annual Hcap Chase) - Has been running well all season and looks to be my best chance of a winner.

Post Re: This Is It, The biggest week of the year.
Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle G1 - Sky Ferreira
There to make up the numbers unfortunately

JLT Handicap Chase - Sepang
Gets his ground but will be out of the handicap. If allowed to lead then he has place claims

Stan James Champion Hurdle - Zod Sterling
Another who looks up against it

Rewards4Racing Novices' H'cap Chase - Zod World
Trip may be slightly too far but could sneak a place

Neptune Investments Novices' Hurdle - Suit and Tie
Has won off top weight in 2 handicaps but has struggled in the top races. Big surprise and run a big race even if the Soft ground is not ideal

RSA Novice's Chase G1 - No Strings
Absolutely no chance

Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle - Prince Lune
Almost won a maiden in the first week but has disappointed ever since. Ground is ideal and on a nice mark. Easily the best chance of the first day

Glenfarclas Handicap Chase - Musa Jets
Has already won twice but this is further than he's ever race. Will he see out the trip? I think he should do and with his desired Soft ground he has a big chance

Fred Winter Juv. H'cap Hurdle - Lunigan
I won this with Estoril last season but Lunigan is well out of the handicap and will not like the Soft ground

Champion Bumper G1 - Westmoreland Road
Has ran well in a couple of races but most of the time he has finished tailed off

Golden Miller Novices' Chase G2 - Day Trip
One of the stable stars but has been very inconsistent. If he turns up then he has huge ew claims

Pertemps Final Handicap Hurdle - Bullfighter
Good ground is a massive plus and should run a big race. Another ew chance

Ryanair Chase G1 - Shine One
Another who will relish the better ground but she is short of the very best

Ladbrokes World Hurdle G1 - Aristofilia
Excellent gamebred but would prefer some cut in the ground. Likely to run on far too late at the end

Byrne Group Handicap Plate Chase - Bang Bang Bang
Loves the National fences but not quite so good over the regulation fences. Good ground and low weight mean she can figure though

Falke Walwyn Kim Muir H'cap Cup Chase - Dads Lad
Another who may come alive in better ground. He has been slowly improving of late but the trip maybe just a little too far

JCB Triumph Hurdle G1 - Lundos
May beat a couple but will be seriuosly outclassed

Vincent O'Brien County Handicap Hurdle - Zod
Rated too high and would prefer softer ground, likely to struggle

Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle G1 - Ibiza
Needs heavy ground to be competitive so will probably finish a long way behind

BetFred Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase G1 - Agage
Ran poorly last week but he loves good ground, Cheltenham and this trip. A great chance to at least place in the big one

CGA Foxhunter's H'Cap Chase - Call The Police
Has performed well this season off a similar mark to today without winning. Place claims

Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle - One World
Won this off 102 last season. Rated 122 now and I can't see her winning but you never know

Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Handicap Chase - Turning Up The Heat
Trip will be too sharp and would prefer softer ground. Will be way out of handicap as well

Paul Moores Grade 1 - Dry County
Needs softer ground but a small field means he may get some of the large prize money

On paper it looks like Day 2 will be my best but at Cheltenham you just never do know. I had 2 winners last season and if I can equal that I will be delighted.
Good luck to all, hopefully many trainers will get a winner
