How many races should a 2yr old race before being put away for the season?

also would like to know how many days you leave between racing the same horse?

Some horses can take more racing than others. For 2yos I usually try to keep it around six starts. An initial maiden run, then I usually ride them in a race to find out where they like to settle during a race and then I hit up all the Group Races. I play on the Australian circuit which has a lot of Group races for 2yos.

If you go into the 'training' screen - find your horse - opposite it's name you'll see a brown box, hover your arrow over it and down the bottom of the screen it will tell you if the horse is ready to race or not.
Conversely click on the horse and stats will come up. Look at the box that says, 'start' 'speed' 'stamina' etc. you'll also see 'condition' and when the green line is basically full your horse is ready to race.
