More newbie questions

So what does the decrypter do exactly? I've seen it mentioned many times in relation to making new schedules, and i'm wondering what it is and why i might need it to make my own schedule?

Also where can i get it from?

More importantly, can someone please point me in the direction of the best thread to learn about making my own schedule? I've had a little play around with it, but i really don't understand a few things and i'd love some help

Ooooo and and and What is this 'transferring' many of you talk about? Is it just for the league? or can it be done just 'in-game'? Lol, and how do i do it?

I would say that unless you're a computer whizz that you stick to editing the schedule in-game. Press the spanner on the main screen when the game opens and you can make your own flat, jumps or combined schedule with almost every race imaginable in it. You'll have to start a new game and select the new schedule for it to take effect though. Someone might be able to email it to you, but try in I'd try in game first.

I'd imagine that there are detailed explanations somewhere on this forum, but it's not easy to get right and even people who have been doing it since SO2 still struggle to get it right and get it to work in the game. It will take a lot of time and is very fiddly.

Transferring is in game. You can press 'retire to game pool'. At the end of the season the horse will be in the transfers screen and you can transfer it into a new game. Press 'esc' after you've finished and save the game after doing it or the horse will be lost. Or you can export the horse into the construction kit by pressing the 'E' button on the top RHS of the horses description and race it anywhere against other horses you've exported.
