This is a great game but I am having difficulties with whether I should be running my horses on dirt or turf.

What is the standard? Should it be mostly turf? I saw one horse it said he liked dirt.. So does that mean that if the head lad doesnt say anything then he wants turf?

Firstly one main thing with this game is trial and error, i usually see for myself some horses are versatile with regards to ground etc, although if he says dirt it will usually run its best races on that surface, however this doesn't mean the horse wont win on the turf. Try running on a variety of grounds on truf see what its better at.
