 Jockey feedback
What do these mean and what steps should you take when you get this feedback?
Horse ran freely"
Could have settled better"
Never get into race"
Never get competitive"
Thanks.

 Re: Jockey feedback
bottom 2 would be they're out of their league.
Top 2, ran freely means it didn't do what the jockey had asked i believe, steps to take i don't know personally, ive got 1 horse that does it and still wins. Other, i assume it means it struggled to settle in either at the start of the race or with the pace, only thing i can think of is to hire help for every race.

 Re: Jockey feedback
Horse ran freely - I think it's when the horse is held up but wants to go on. I.e try racing even pace or handy
Could have settled better - usually means needs gelding. Try blinkers first
Never get into race - pace might have been slow for a hold up horse. Usually means they aren't good enough
Never get competitive - same as above

 Re: Jockey feedback
Generally ignore ran freely and could have settled better, I got that on nearly all of mine on SO4 and continue to in SO5 but they're still winning and running well. Only geld or sell a horse which the jockey tells you 'did not settle' or 'not settle' otherwise you're wasting what could have been a good horse for breeding.
