Post background wallpaper
Hi all,

I am having a few issues when trying to add my own background image in SO5. I have replaced all the WP1.bmp with my image but no joy i just get a black screen. does the resolution have to be 100% the same as the orginal Wp1 image?

I had the same problem as you. Make sure the pic is a bmp. I tried with jpg and it wouldn't work so I used MS Paint to convert it to bmp.

Yep. you need a bitmap image otherwise the screen will be black.

Also the exact dimensions for your image, best place is to type in Google Images "horses" or whatever you want, and set the image size to exactly what your screen resolution is when you play and just place the bitmap image into there, make sure that when you right click the image and "save picture as" that it is saved as a bitmap, I think it saves as a jpg by default.
