I have checked the default schedule file and the preps are all fine - there are no sprint races as preps for the Arc. I also ran through a few seasons and checked the fields for the Arc each year, and didn't find any sprinters.
So, I can only assume the problem you're getting is related to the fact that you added some extra races using the schedule editor, and this has now moved the preps in your schedule out of sync. Hopefully the schedule editor will be fixed soon.
