Search 'Winning Post' <= That is still the bench mark of horse racing games, only problem is its in japanese.

I've played hundreds of game years of WP 2008 and love the game, its so indepth and after a while i got to understand a fair bit of japanese. I created excel spreadsheets with hundreds of studs to help me breed to the best.

High quality game that is forsure

SO5 is still great to play and its in English which HELPS :D

Can't wait for Owner mode to take off
Loads of different versions of Winning Post on Ebay, all Japanese, some for PS2, even some for PS3, will varying prices, from very expensive to dirt-cheap lol, looks like a good game if u can get round the language issue :)
There is a english version for sega saturn of winning post..u can even download the emulator and rom for it online..anybody played it?..but starters orders 5 the best game ever i been playing for a year and a half since so4 everyday but just at 2 hours a day when my daughter goes to sleep..lol

I thought that most japanese horse racing games were those silly games where you had to be the jockey and ride the horse yourself and there was no serious gameplay apart from finding out how quickly you could break your keyboard or controller.

Is Winning Post a proper game or just one of those silly race games for kids?
