Does anyone ever have this? I have a save at the moment and I just can't get into it, what's really annoying is that it is the best one I have ever started! In the second year of breeding most of my 2yo's have at least 80% potential and all bar one has won first time and then followed up with a listed/group win. I've been really busy in the last few weeks and haven't had time to play, I'm desperate to go back to it, but I just cannot get back into it at all! Yet there are other saves which I have laboured away at while not breeding anything of any real note and have spent hours desperately trying to make the game better.

Am I the only one who gets this with some saves?

Ive been playing my game( my american version) for about three months and i got to about 6 season's into it when i found out that my older mares didn't have enough races to run in so i had to start again( i'm always looking to make it better), it was the best game i've ever had but i had to start over. I bred my first group one horse aswell.... Rafha, i always like to name my horses after real horses. Plus i was waiting for a game bred horse ollie magern 16-G1 winner to retire so i could breed my rafha with him.

I'm one of those person's if i play on my football manager after about three season's i start again( for no reason). I don't feel that way with this game.

I do it all the time which is why I have 7 saves but am only playing 1!

Same here, I like building the history up year on year, it gives the game a more realistic feeling that you get totally immersed in. Plus I play really slowly, watching lots of races, so get to know the game horses well too.

i play the game one day or two days per session and watch "every" race,its gonna take me a long time to get through a season but i prefer it,so i get to know the horses and get immersed in the game.Also got a saved game where i miss days out and go to the big races and meetings,just to see how the game evolves over a few seasons.

I just rotate by doing 1 season on the flat and then the next on the jumps.

I couldn't do that, I've neglected my jumps a bit a the moment by getting engrossed in my flat game but I'm sure it will soon switch around!

Ubar must have been desperate to get to 1000, look at how old this thread is! Paul maybe we ought to demote him by deleting some of his posts for unearthing an old thread!!

He certainly made sure he was getting to that G1 status, and still managed to resist the ubar-free zone thread in the process- now we know how!!!

There again, I'm sure none of us would take it away from him, Ubar-tastic stuff!!!
