Hi,
Ive been playing this game for a few weeks now. I had a gamebred horse which I was given when I started the game. He won multiple G1's so I put him into the breeding farm hoping to get some good foals. Unfortunately none of the foals have been able to score groups wins, some even struggling to reach a rating of 100. Why is this? And what is the best way for me to breed groups winners or is it just luck?

Pair him with all the best mares you can find in the breeding barn ( non owned ) and they don't have to be over the same distance.
You will get a lot of duds but there should be some decent horses now and again.
Check the potential rating bar of new offspring you want this as high as possible.
There are no hard and fast rules but if you breed the best with the best you should get results.
