When your head lad gives you this advice has anyone experimented, by continuing to race, to see what the actual effect is. Does the horse perform below par or can you do long term damage and wreck a horses future career. The reason I am asking is that I have just got the fastest 2 year old I have ever had, she has bolted up in the Brocklesbury, Hilary Needler and the Queen Mary and it is obvious there is not a 2 year old around that is going to touch her. I would love to try her in the Nunthorpe or L'abbaye to really test her but I don't want to ruin her as I also want to export her for the league. Any advice welcome.

Re: Care you are close to over-racing this horse
if you give it 3 weeks between races the horse should be fine BUT there are a few a very few 2yo that cant handle over 3 races and there condition bar goes to 75% for the rest of the season it does effect there performance but can still win

The condition bar was stuck at 75% which was a pain but decided to give the L'abbaye a go and although she wasn't at her best she managed to scrape home from a stablemate. 57.64 on G/F so not too sloppy. Unfortunately due to the condition bar I can't export her so I will just have to hope she's as good at 3 and try her in the league. I should have kept a closer eye on her as she's probably the first one I have had that might be better than a handicapper.
