Post Breeding Jumps/Hurdle Horses???
Hey Guys,

been playing on and off now since the beginning of starters orders 4.

I find it relatively easy to get good breeding lines going for flat horses.

I never seem to be able to either buy or produce my own jumps horses. is there anything I can look for to guide me or any tips you guys may have. as in jumps most of the horses are gelded and I am a little bit stuck as to finding them.

please help guys it has been driving me mad for a while now. is it just pot luck as to testing them out or is there some sort of method I can look towards.

much appreciated

i started by transferring my very best flat horses to a jumps game
thats were most people start
i dont think breeding to jumps gamebreds works out too well

Paul actually gamebred jump horses are much better 100% than flat horses. I found a great game bred horse called Caroline Island he was a 4m , he was dad to all/ most of my 3m+ chase jumpers last year. I've got one by him this season Lo Stregone who won a grade 1. I would have had another one called Carvills Hill but he was a full brother to lo stregone.

I'd say bring in u best flat mares and bred with a good jump colt. Find the good colt first then bring in u mares.

thanks guys, I will try my best flat mares with a good jumper. the only thing is finding a good jumper that isn't gelded. I had my only ever decent 2 jumpers who both won good races over 2 and 3 mile hurdles respectively and their form dipped and not knowing much about the game I gelded them. form didn't come back and since retired. maybe I would have gotten decent enough jumps horses with breeding those with some good flat horses. do you run your planned jumps horses over the flat first or just wait for them to go jumping?

Cheers Guys

Look for the good Chasers, they are better than the hurdlers. If u see a French chaser winning a group 1 race twice then bred with it, they should be Ok.
