 Grand National horses
Has anybody had a game horse capable to contest or win Grand National from the 3/5 starting horses offered at start of a new game? Anybody won National with a game horse ? Anybody won the National. If so could you inform me of their stats. Anybody prepared to satisfy my curiosity out there ? (Maybe this of interest of other aspiring novice jump trainers.) I would be most obliged. ARAPHO

 Re: Grand National horses
Hi Arapho, Yes I have managed this with one of the starting horses. I won't be able to post an image till tomorrow though. The horse in question has had 3 cracks at the race finishing, I think, 17th, 1st and 8th. Unfortunately his preferred going is firm so he struggles most of the season. Will be going for a 4th crack later this week but I have much better candidates this time, both also game horses. I think I got very lucky with my starting horses as I sold 3 but the other one I kept won a couple of grade 1 2 mile chases.

 Re: Grand National horses
As you can see his stats were not the greatest. The potential, light and dark green, has dropped from its peak but neither were ever full

 Re: Grand National horses
Rather shocked me by regaining his crown. Definitely off to stud now. I could never win the race in previous SO versions now I can't stop

 Re: Grand National horses
Pommard you seem to be the only National winner. Are you unique? Or is it other people cannot be assed to respond now. ARAPHO

 Re: Grand National horses
I was asking for stats of national winners as per my original post, third line/question "has any body won national?" and kindly show stats.

 Re: Grand National horses
I think he meant stats of the 3 out of your 5 starting horses that are GN standard.
