I've played this game for year's and I've never had one. I've only ever had sprinters who won one group1.I think I'm sad but i've got a book on my best horse's( i know im sad). You're not sad! I keep notes in my horses in my notepad, kind of like a book too so you're not the only one I think thats what makes this game (s.orders)great, u can look back and enjoy the old horses u had, for some in here it seems to be just a number's thing, measuring how many group one races they can win with one horse.

1st time playing any SO games and have no idea!!! Its actually easy once you see, first go to any image host, http://imageshack.us is a popular one then click on the browse button and then click on the image you want to upload then click upload now and you will be given a list of codes html, bb etc copy the bb code(forum code) then past it in here (post/reply form) and done.

One of the first crops from Deep Impact, his son Danon Ballade who himself has etched himself in immortality taking out the Japan Triple Crown. He also managed to add Deutsches Derby (G1), Preis von Europa (G1), Grosser Preis von Baden (G1) and Japan Cup (G1) to his season haul. He'll be returning as a four-year-old after a final start in the Arima Kinen.

 Re: So5 Horse Profiles [Screenshots]
Here is 2 of my current horses: First is this guy has been pretty much amazing since I bought him. He has won 26 of 33 races for me all G1's and has never been out of the money. Best game horse I have had. He also set 2 records at 1m4f 2:29.14 and 1m7f 3:18.53 Next one is 1st generation homebred out of a 1m and 1m1f record setting stallion who won 20 G1's and a 10 G1 winning mare. His only loss came to another of my homebreds in his 2nd race. He swept the American Triple Crown and has won G1 races at 6F, 1m, 1m1f, 1m2f and 1m4f. He set a few track records but no overall distance records yet. He hopefully will be the one to carry on the bloodline.

 Re: So5 Horse Profiles [Screenshots]
Replying to The Duke. Looks like you have got a decent breeding line going. Danon Ballade seems like another horse which is versatile with regards to trip. Are you finding that this more common than in SO4. I have decided to upload, not my best horse, but one I had loads of fun with. This is actually quite difficult to do. Not the winning of the races but mainly because to keep the horse rated under 110 for the Cesarwitch as well as making the cut for the other 2 races without having to high a mark is difficult. She gave me a fright in the 2 mile handicap ( as shown by the highlight. A race she had to win to get into the Ebor. ) So Sergent Cecil's performance has been emulated in my game. I entered her in the Melbourne Cup but she got put in place by my own horse ( The same horse that suffered the career injury in my game. But that game crashed and I had to start the season again. I was upset about having to go back and play the season from the start at the time, but this is one time that I have been really happy that my game crashed as I have been struggling to get decent stayers ) Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I am a stats freak but got to say the stats are not very important, but still looks nice anyway. Below is the latest unraced 2Y old.

 Re: So5 Horse Profiles [Screenshots]
Been focusing on sprinters and here are some of my latest batch. They are doing 1:09s which is decent. Not as fast as SO4 times at 1:08s but hopefully the times go down. I usually don't race them but wanted to see what they would do. They are all retired to breeding barn after the end of 3yo so no form after age of 3. Just noticed that there aren't that many Group 1 races compared to the other distances. And here they are running against each other in the CK against my other horses in a very exciting finish.

anubisrich wrote: The stamina bar on them suggests 7f? It's the way the game is programed compared to SO4. Horses have a bigger range in the distance they can run in SO5. I think if you trial them enough you will find that sweet spot where they excel at one distance.

 Re: So5 Horse Profiles [Screenshots]
Must admit I have noticed a couple of horses in my latest batch that I would normally associate with being 7/8f horses race as sprinters and are currently clearing up all the 6f races in the game. I have yet to trial them though so I will keep my fingers crossed!
Couple of random questions for anyone who cares to add their input...
When are people exporting their horses in the season? Are you still sticking with the same things you did in SO4 or have you noticed any differences in CK performance at different times of the season? I always export at the start of the year but dont want to be missing out! lol
Have any of you noticed any differences in the performance of horses under different riding instructions compared to leaving it open to the jockey?

 Re: So5 Horse Profiles [Screenshots]
I see lots of horses who have won lots of races but my best horse is a Stayer who needs 2m Plus so my best horse has not run that often he has had 16 wins from 19 runs now 8y0 i'm going to give him one more season as he has won 4 Ascot Gold Cups 4 Prix Du Cadran in a row but only won 3 from 4 Welsh Gold Cup which is ran over 2m 5f so trying for 5 straight wins in either Ascot Gold Cup or Prix Du Cadran. This would be my best gamehorse stayer ever hes been transfered to another game a jump game and has won graded 1 jumps and the Grand National off near Top Weight. By amethyst2009 at 2012-07-07
