im 18 now, started when i was about 13 or 14 maybe even younger, can't remember when so1 came out. not really got the funds to buy so5 yet but not too disheartened as i know theres gonna be a few patches yet until its spot on. ridiculously excited about the trainer mode and would love a jockey mode one day. drifted a bit from the topic but oh well haha, can't wait to play it now!!

I would love to see a jockey only mode as well. People say they would like to see a 3d race engine but I would much rather see a mode where you live the life of a jockey, putting yourself up for rides, deciding which meeting to go for, e.g going to royal ascot or going to a low class meeting instead, choosing whether to fly to Dubai etc. at greater cost, hiring yourself a driver or buying a plane/ helicopter, watching your weight and of course riding the horses! Completely off topic now, sorry but really wanted to say that!

Quote: Stable Masters came out in 2001, 11 years ago. Actually the true granddaddy was 'Horse racing simulator' for the PC. A shareware company called Budgie published it in the late 1980's /1990 (I feel old now). I wrote it for the Atari ST using a compiled basic called STOS when I was a yoof. I thought it would have vanished without a trace but a quick google reveals the opposite. There are even some screenshots. The first Stable Masters was basically this game but with some more acceptable visuals created by an artist rather than me for reasons that are clear if you look at the screenshots! http://www.atarilegend.com/games/games_detail.php?game_id=1925

I think in saying that I have just completely exposed myself as the non-techy person I am, but if at all possible in any way I would be intrigued to play it!

 Re: am i the youngest
yeah gs63 i forgot to mention i do have the demo downloaded and have played on it a few times, I'm excited for the trainer only mode and thats not available in the demo, plus there is a few little things in the demo which I've noticed, mostly the blurriness of the fonts, but there was no way i was gonna complain about a game which mark has put so much effort in, the patches will eradicate all the little bugs anyway. interested to see the alternate graphics too
