 Re: Starters orders 5 challenge!
Im running out of superlatives for this horse, i really don't know what to say... apart from i really really am The Master Trainer. In a way im a little sad as i know i'll probably never top this.... http://postimg.org/image/vmp118odl/http://postimg.org/image/vpkcsr5b7/http://postimg.org/image/uo5tmf4jd/Capital Access could only manage 6th in the RSA, his jumping left a lot to be desired and he's far from being a natual but maybe with a bit more experience he'll improve, also he may be a bit more ground dependant than i thought, even though his stats say he shouldn't be. Anyway the Gold Cup dream is still alive for him but he will need a bit of luck. http://postimg.org/image/xrnmqxb3d/http://postimg.org/image/ukxvv10yl/With 2 horses like this from a small string the owner 'K Brown' really should be called 'Clive Smith', i however should NOT be called 'P Nicholls'....... because i am better.

 Re: Starters orders 5 challenge!
A new star has been born! I thought the gods had turned against me this year when i saw the predicted ground conditions, good to firm for the first 3 days which was in Capital Access' favour and then rain on gold cup day tuning the ground to good which wasn't, but i have to say he was absolutely primed.. i mean everything was tip top with him on the big day. He got a beautiful trip on the rail the whole way round and he jumped much better than he ever had, never made a mistake or a slow jump. The 3m2f stretched the stamina reserves and he really started to slow when he met the hill, but he had absolutely pinged the 2nd last where he took 2/3 lenghts out of the field and accelerated into a 6-7 length lead into the straight, they began to close 2 1/2 furlongs out and after he jumped the last well he dug in and ground it out to prevail by just under a length. I have to say i didn't think he was good enough after his 6th in the RSA last year but i figured i'd get him there fresh, and after a good 3rd in his prep run in the hennessy when a bit heavy and not fully fit on ground not to his liking i had hope he could pull it off. http://postimg.org/image/di5ds2bn3/http://postimg.org/image/l7lz8vkhv/http://postimg.org/image/py0pzoq61/I hate to be giving Hoof Prince 2nd billing here but the ground was just totally against him, i can genuinely say had the ground been good/good to soft i'd most likely be telling you about a fourth straight champion chase victory at the age of 10. He showed he was as good as ever with a fine 2nd in the desert orchid when not fully wound up, but just didn't have the pace to to go with some speedy types on quick ground, even at his beloved cheltenham (its his first defeat in 6 visits to the course). Still he ran a very creditable 5th and all being well he'll come back next year for another crack... though i have to add.. realistically i'd be hoping the ground would suit Capital Access, but if it doesn't suit the gold cup winner then Hoof Prince will have a shout at reclaiming his champion chase crown....yes... even at 11... he's that good! http://postimg.org/image/4kqn62qr7/http://postimg.org/image/j62183kah/

 Re: Starters orders 5 challenge!
Capital Access could only manage 2nd in the defence of his gold cup crown but still i think i should have a race at the festival named after me, the ' Johnny16dar Grand Annual Handicap Chase' has a ring to it..... or even a statue would do to be honest?? http://postimg.org/image/mfirl632r/http://postimg.org/image/bze4tftvn/http://postimg.org/image/esjaikeh1/Hoof Prince im afraid to say has gone past his best and that will be his last race, still it was an opportunity for his loyal band of followers to see him one last time on the hallowed ground that is his beloved cheltenham racecourse. He won a supreme novices hurdle and 3 champion chase's in consecutive years and i challenge any player of the game to beat that in ANY mode of the game... in a word he was exceptional!!.... as is his trainer.... The Master. http://postimg.org/image/h7hqlc231/http://postimg.org/image/efiaj7o5t/On a side note... in the course of this weirdly successful game i've managed to win a Supreme Novices Hurdle, a G2 Shloer Chase and 3 Champion Chase's with Hoof Prince, a CBC Novices Chase, a Cheltenham Gold Cup and a Punchestown Gold Cup with Capital Access, amassing £1,312,629 in prize money, and not once has any other owner offered me to take on some of their horses... i think i may be in the wrong club!! To be honest they can stick it.. im off to the caribbean to live out the rest of my days in paradise........ unless some young upstart comes along to take my crown as the ' Greatest Trainer In The Entire History Of Trainers'..... then, and only then will i be tempted to return. Peace and Love.... Johnny16dar... aka... The MASTER Trainer
