Hello everyone

I'm a strategy gamer first with the bare minimum of knowledge when it comes to the nuances of horse racing. I have downloaded the demo of SO6 and an instruction manual from the site (though it refers to SO4 and I assume therefore there has been little change in the game mechanics of the new version).

Reading through the forums just confirms to me there is a lot more to the subject than what I've managed to glean from the tele .
Before taking the plunge on the full game is there any reading on the site you can recommend by way of an 'idiots guide'?

I advise just searching the forum. There have been post requests such as this in the past and were answered. At a risk of sounding mean (which I am not intending) most people who have helped in the past multiple times may tire of typing the same thing

Thanks for the response GGBall and apologies for missing the obvious reference in the attached link . This is definitely the type of game I prefer despite my current ignorance of the finer points of the sport itself.
