Post problems using mods
I have had problems with my laptop and therefore only got the game back- i tried to install the dukes mod for the game the way i have done before- successfuly. however now it just copies the files in and mods are not done...

My way of doing it is program files x86- SO6- and paste it to there.....This worked before for me about 3weeks back, but now ive my computer back this doesnt work!

Has anyone any ideas how to do this properly,, as now it just copies into the s06 file and doesnt actually work!

So annoying :(

You probably have to edit permissions to allow you to make changes. Not sure if you can just edit permissions once for the whole data folder or you have to do it for each file you're changing.

Right click > Properties > Security > Edit > User ~ then click the box to allow full control

It takes 10 mins due to the Irish Courses I made so you will be able to play all the Irish Courses that are included in the UK Schedule what Maiden races are you about Uk Schedule ?

When i copy and paste the mods in, and go to play a game the first thing i do is check the diary and see if there are any 2yo races. i do this as it will tell me if the mod is being used. No matter how many times i have tried putting the mods into S06 i still have the basic races and no early 2yo races!

This is where my problem lies lol, i dont know what im doing wrong as before i sent my laptop away to be fixed, it worked fine!

There won't be any 2yo races in the UK until after the first 2yo feature race.

Yes i understand that for the UK races, but as ive added your schedule i should have the races in Japan available to race in....yet i dont!

update- uninstalled SO and reinstalled it to give it another try. downloaded the Dukes schedule which i had used previously, copy and pasted the file into the SO6 folder within program files x86.... took about 20mins to copy over.

started a game and still no early 2yo races lol :?:

so annoying!

Just a quick I know you said you added my uk schedule but did you add the other Schedules in the Data Folders for Ireland France and Japan unless you add them into the Data Folders they wont show up.

Gray

P.S you need to add them because the Schedule needs to be able to read Showcase Races for other Countries.
