so I took the family away for a week only to come back to a burgled house! luckily im insured but what wasn't insured was my personel pc with my SO6 on it and before you say why wasn't it backed up well it was on an external hard drive which was also stolen so at the mo im reduced to a pretty pink laptop (which my daughter took on holiday) and starting from scratch.

yeh mate got a crime number police not too hopeful at least they were professional didn't mess the place up time for an alarm me thinks wouldn't mind but I live in a really nice/quiet place perhaps too nice/quiet

Got robbed myself about a year and a half ago. Guy still hasn't been caught despite being involved with several robberies in the area. All he really took from me was a $100 diamond necklace my mother bought for me for Christmas a few years ago. Only reason he just got that was because we caught him in the act. Looked like he was going to steal my coat, my Wii, and one of my dad's computer monitors. Didn't realize he was robbing us because we caught him outside of our home. By the time we got in and saw our stuff in disarray, he was gone. Two days before that, my dog vanished. She has never been found. Two months after that, my parents got into a car accident. Totaled our truck but both got out with minor injuries. Eight months after that, one of my cats died. Last year was not a good year.
