 Settle???
Good morning guys...
I have a front runner horse who is losing all his races in the last .5furlongs and always says that the horse did not settle.
What should I do about it?
Another noob question... kindly explain why you use VISORS, BLINKERS AND NOSEBAND?
I thank you in advance

 Re: Settle???
The only way I have found to get a horse to settle is to get it gelded. This is a shame if you were hoping to breed from it, however you are probably best not to breed from it anyway as it will likely pass on this trait to its offspring. If you click on the Training icon at the top left of your main game screen, scan down to your horse, then put the cursor over the right hand square. In that dialogue box you will see your head lads comments. Check to see if he is recommending the horse be gelded.
It pays you to scan down all your horses to check the head lads comments. Can be useful, like what surfaces it prefers, etc. You will also occasionally see the comment "will benefit from blinkers" (or something similar to this...I can't remember the exact wording). This is when you use the visors, blinkers, noseband option. I have never found the difference between each of the 3 options. They all seem to solve the problem.
